I put July 1st, but that's mostly wishful thinking.
This, meaning the quarantine, shuttered businesses, etc. When does life go back to "normal"? When will I be able to leave my house and grab a burger somewhere?

I said June 1, but I'm not convinced. I hope I'm right though.
I'm hoping for mid-June. 🤞🏻
I’m thinking sometime in June, so put July 1. But that’s just most businesses back open. I fully expect the social distancing precautions to last into July, just think it becomes a bit more lax as I expect the curve to be on the downside.
We're talking about this site, right? Why is Wednesday not an option?

This virus thing doesn't end until we have a vaccine, I think early next year.
The lockdowns...some places still haven't locked down, and I think most end by May 1. Some additional hot spots might have limited back to work until June.
Once we flatten the curve and have much more capacity to test, we'll be back to work after we can track and isolate new cases. Maybe not concerts or sporting events, but pretty much everything else. Restaurants/Bars will be the toughest, but they'll probably be ordered to maintain 50% capacity so we can have some social distancing.

The 50% capacity is my thinking as well. Movie theaters too. We might see more retail outlets go the Home Depot route and limit how many people are allowed in at once.
I wouldn't be surprised if we back off this thing in a county by county or group of counties manner. Easier to monitor/test etc.
For the US I would say 1 June. It seems like this thing follows a 6-7 week timeline.
Don't forget to vote.
I say after August

Back to the OP, never. There will be a new normal. Remote work, curbside food, and other aspects are here to stay. This just sped up the remote and tech aspect of the economy.
But, when can you leave your house and get a burger...now I think? I can go down the street and eat indoors.
Schools are starting to go back to normal here in Ohio. Should be fully open by the fall.
I think we get everything back open by the summer.
Everyone in the other thread that picked June/July are looking pretty good right now. I don't believe you asked to specify the year...
Not sure if I even voted. I predicted fall 2021. I'm sticking with it. That goes for sporting events, concerts, etc.

They need to open-up things by the summer. J&J is supposed to ship 100M doses by July, and Moderna and Pfizer I think both agreed to another 100M doses by the end of July.
So by the end of July, that's 300M people vaccinated, and we should hit herd immunity before that. I think Memorial Day is a good target if they can scale up the vaccinations.
I mean, by the end of April we will have already vaccinated just about everyone categorized as "vulnerable" or "at risk".
It will be hilarious if they try to keep the college kids and young 20-30 somethings locked down all summer.
I have a hard time believing restrictions won't be eased up by summer. Maybe there will still be some places you have to wear a mask or prove you've had the vaccination, but I just cant fathom we go through another summer of no concerts or festivals or empty baseball stadiums.

Yeah, but why do you have such a problem with saving lives? Just stay home. It's not that hard.
