seeing the military dads coming home and surprising their families
What takes the feelz to 10? What makes you tear up, choke up, etc.?
1 - My children succeeding at things that are out of their comfort zone
2 - I coach... same can be said for my players as #1
3 - Sound of Music is now on the list, thanks to #1 - youngest daughter played Gretyl in school play
4 - "Go Rest High on That Mountain" - Every damn time.
5 - "I Can Only Imagine" - It's always been a powerful song, but after watching the movie this weekend, it turned it up a notch

Seeing a pet (cat or dog) hit in the street. First thing that comes to mind is "POS owner."

Agree. Shelly Fabres is the poor man's Ali McGraw.
Holy Buckeye
I don't remember the exact last day I played catch with my dad, but I know it was during the summer of 1990. I had just seen Field Of Dreams (and shed a few tears during the father-son catch scene), and my father and I were getting ready to play for a church softball team. He hadn't played in almost two decades, and we hadn't played catch together since 1973, but we got to do it again seventeen years later. And I got to watch him smack the tar out of that ball a few more times. I savored that summer.
I didn't go out of my way to hear it, but Brad Paisley's "Last Time" was playing at a conference I went to over the weekend, and it hit a nerve. I had seen a meme a few months ago that said something like "One day you and your friends went outside to play together for the last time, and none of you knew it.
There was a last time that each of my sons called me "Daddy" before changing it to "Dad". And there will be a last time that I kiss my wife goodnight.
