Morning walk, picked up a few groceries, fired up grill and cooked some hot dogs. Pool time, little yard work, more pool time, had a little dinner, more pool time.....followed by fire pit and s’mores. Good ol fashioned great day. Zero tv and minimal phone.

You other 12 having a good weekend?

I had a good day.

We took a 2.25 mile round trip walk this morning to get coffee and a pastry at a local place. I wanted to stay out of the heat after that so I worked on my baseball card collection inventory for a couple hours. Watched a few episode of Seinfeld. Then went to a local record store and picked up 4 records (Fleetwood Mac Tusk, and 3 Dire Straits albums). Stopped by for a couple beers and an appetizer at the brewery across the street from the record store. Went to Skyline for dinner on the way to hang out with my brother-in-law, his wife, and our niece for 3+ hours. We just got home a bit ago. I'll sleep well tonight.

Had a nice weekend. Yesterday was my birthday so my two sons and I golfed yesterday and today. They grilled out today for me and their mother and their wives. I will say the learned their grilling methods from their father and it was nice to just sit back and let them do their thing.

Had a great weekend. Got our patio all put together except a dining table that we ordered this weekend. I got to fire up the blackstone and solostove for the first time this weekend and they were both awesome

Slept...finally. Then: grocery shopping, weedeated and sorted the back yard, grilled (steaks, potatoes, jalapenos), and relaxed with the family. Power went out around 8:15pm, so we went to McDonald's for a treat. Back home and bed.

Good Father's Day.

She’s doing her clinical work there and also working at CVS there. Have met up a few times and Etta has been good. The Boathouse was great

Never been to that place, is it newer? It's been a couple years since my last trip, and almost 15 (!) since I spent regular time there.

Definitely not new. On Virginia Avenue and didn’t look great from outside but inside and all the patio eating was probably big enough for 200 people. Nice breeze overlooking the river. Boat dock for boaters to stop. Had all the beverages and smoked meats.

Must've been annoying eating your food sideways like that.
