I see a lot of cool nature videos in my twitter feed so I'll probably start sharing some in here.

Owls ears are wild.

Have you ever seen an owls ear?

Here is a Northern Saw-Whet Owl: their ears are huge in comparison to their body. You can even see the skeletal anatomy with the base of the eye

Speaking of owls, there are a few barred owls ('who cooks for you') that live on or near my mom's property. The last few times I've camped they decided to get ... freaky with each other. Sounded like two monkeys fighting. It was nuts. And it just kept going.

My son and I have been doing about 3 trails a week. Hit Hocking Hills, Lake Katherine and Buzzard’s Roost this week.

I live in town and 2 Thursday’s ago a black bear was making its way through town following a creek bed and was 100 feet from my house and I missed it while walking my dog by 5 minutes.
