With Keith Jackson, dick enberg and others passing away,, Mike Patrick retiring and hearing famous calls I was wondering...what announcers have been the soundtrack of your life?

I would have to say Joe nuxhall.   Growing up rarely was a reds game on so every night we would have 700wlw on and listening to he and marty.  Always loved when they played out west so I coild listen late.

What say you....?

Absolutely agree ................ Ray Scott had the best voice, and the others were exceptional.  Those were great days.

Sticking with football, I also liked Don Criqui a lot!

Bob Prince, the Gunner, was epic for the Pirates, listened intently for years back in the '70's.

Joe Tait  >  one-of-a-kind!

I'm gonna go with Joe Tait.

When I was young, I was enthralled listening to Vin Scully doing the World Series on the radio.

Olympics: Jim McKay
