Two of my favorites:
Back in the day ( look out, here it comes ) Saturday morning was the highlight of the week. From 8-12, I was glued to the TV. Nothing could get me away exept to fix a bowl of cereal during a commercial. The start of fall was exciting because the NEW cartoons would be on. Most of you wippersnsappers will not understand this because this era had no cartoon network or Nickelodian. Saturday was the only time during the week you could get your carttoon fix.
What do you remember about Saurday mornings?

What could be cooler that to have a magic hole....:)
I was a big fan of Clutch Cargo and Heckle and Jeckle.
I remember really digging the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon series about the kids stuck in magic-land and unsuccessfully trying to leave while always thwarted some evil guy's plans. The series was pulled before they were able to get out, but due to teh interwebs, I was able to find the proposed script for it and finally get closure a few years back.
And some syndicated old WWF show where I learned that no matter how fake it is, I really liked watching people kick the shit out of older, flabbier dudes.
And other random cartoons, as well as those PSA long-form commercials about what a Bill is and Conjunction Junction and all that shit.
Johnny Quest,Scooby Doo and Fat Albert were three that I remembered watching.
