Could not find the thread about places  people have eaten recently.  Maybe it was before the changeover.

Recently checked out The Rail in Columbus.  Newer place that focuses on Ohio food and brews .  Meats from Ohio farmers and such.

Gave my burger a 6.7/8.   Very good flavor and rare...just like I prefer.  Most places won't go that low on the scale.

What say you?

Curious, I've see a lot of five and 10 point ratings, is an eight point scale a common thing or just your deal?

It's what the cool kids use.

Nah, someone on yappi does it for movie ratings.   I accidently used it here and a few idiots got all fired up so now I kept doing it.

Recently visited Joe's Deli in Rocky River. Outstanding corned beef!

Will go back.

WTF is that?  I know it's a pig, obvi.  But what's the dish?  What accompanies?

They called it Tete du Cochon. They sous vide the head for 72 hours, then do a quick deep fry and torch to crisp it up on the outside. It had things like saurkraut, potato salad, various mustards.

Fat Heads is building another big one along 71 and Bagley Road.

I've been to the one in North Olmsted and the food portions are huge!  Kinda extra greasy stuff, though.

Fun Fact: Their name comes from the buns on their giant burgers.

There's a place called Frontier here in Chicago that I went to recently where you can buy a whole pig similiar to that above. It was fucking delicious. Really expensive but worth it.

How long does it take you to eat all of that?  Recommended a large group purchase?  Obviously plenty of take home, if not.

Oh yeah, large group. The whole pig serves 15'ish people. It's $550 for a whole pig. But you literally get everything on the pig. Eyeballs, brain, everything. It's a shit ton of food. Pig brain is probably the grossest thing I've ever tasted BTW. Twas so gross.

I don't even think I'd know how to start eating that.
