Let's say you stumble upon some sort of magic that allows you to build out your dream musical lineup of artists both living in dead. What show are you putting together? It can be anything from a simple opening act and headliner, all the way out to a multi-day music festival.

Has to be Bonnaroo because the farm is magical.

For headliners I’ll choose a current act a reunion and an act of the past.

Paul McCartney Oasis Beastie Boys

Pre Headliners:

My Morning Jacket LCD SoundSystem Wu Tang

Edit: you can toss in Queen and The Killers and they can take my bank account for a ticket

Friday afternoon would be chill with bands like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Dylan, Mumford & Sons, Bread, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, Alanis, and Simon & Garfunkel.

Friday evening would see guys like Springsteen, Green Day, with maybe an appearance by Prince.

Friday night would be "An Evening With the Beatles"

Saturday morning would have Enya getting everyone going in a chill way. Then after lunch AC/DC with Bon Scott, Tool, Alice In Chains. Finally the final night would be Iron Maiden closing it out.

Limp Bizkit

Sure  You'd have David Gilmore, Robert Plant, James Hetfield, Freddie Mercury, Jonathan Davis, Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder - but a list like this would be incomplete without the artistry of Fred Durst to make it whole. The pantheon of great singers right there.

Johnny Cash and George Strait.

Those are the only two I'd really love to continue to see.

I'd open at noon with some cool jazz from Fagen, Becker, Purdie, Carlton, Porcaro Bros, Baxter, McDonald, Schmidt

I'd put Lynnyrd Skynyrd in the mid day, don't change a thing, they are tight

Followed by Nancy and Ann Wilson with any backup band, don't need the Fisher drama

Midday is Clapton, Baker, Windwood, Grech, Bruce, Allman, Mason for a blues set

Pick it back up with the Police, followed by Rush, ending with Jimmy, Robert, John Paul and John

Not sure how to fit NIN, Nirvana, or Prince in there

Nickelback, a bunch of Nickelback tribute bands and the "new" Nickelback, Five Finger Death Punch.

Day 2 - Imagine Dragons / Michael Stanley Band / Springsteen / Lynyrd Skynyrd / Rolling Stones / Queen / The Who

And if it happens to be St. Paddy's Day (imagine that) ........throw in The Waterboys

Pretty good lineup. If I were you, I'd tell Styx, "You can play at my festival. But I hear even a hint of Mr. Roboto, and I'll unplug you guys faster than you can say 'Babe was a great song!'"

I need to add a performance of Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues to my festival. Bump Live from the noon spot.

Actually, I'm scratching Styx and replacing them with Toto.

I'd probably do an evolution of blues/ rock concert over two days.

For the blues day I would have Charlie Patton, Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Son House, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, BB King, Buddy Guy, T Bone Walker, Freddie King ,Albert King, Otis Rush, Junior Kimbrough, Gary Clark Jr. and Christone Kingfish Ingram.

My rock day would be rock artists with those blues players making an appearance as they cover their songs or songs that influenced them. I'd have Zep, Floyd, Clapton (with Cream and Blind Faith), Allman Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Stones, Beatles, Aerosmith, Eagles, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Jack White, Stapleton, and Black Keys.
