Is there a bigger rip-off out there than yeti products?  I saw that they now have 5 gallon buckets that retail for $40

I put them up there with Beats headphones and monster cables as biggest scams out there for the general public.  Name some others

Yeti's are definitely overpriced by a significant amount. I bought a Rtic soft-sided cooler a couple years back for $99 and it performs very well. The same sized Yeti back then was $299.

Yup. The rtic stuff is really nice. There are tons and tons of videos out there comparing the 2 and the rtic’s usually perform better.

I look at those Yeti big ass coolers for like $999 and SMH.

Bag of ice and styrofoam or cheap ass cooler has always worked well for BRF.

I wonder if anyone not in the concessions business has ever used a cooler enough to get every bit of $999 worth.

I know some friends who camp for a few days at a time. Being able to keep steaks fresh, beer cold, etc is worth it. Obviously not first use, but it’s going on about 20 trips now, so I’d say it’s a decent investment.

Now, if there is one as good, cheaper, get it. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the purchase was poor at the time.

There are a few gyms around here that run about $70 a month.  I see people working out there and just laugh.

I'm guilty of paying for this, but I need the varied schedule and planned workouts to keep me interested.

I know some guys who fish who swear by them. Can go on multi-day trips and not worry about losing any of the catch.

If you want to pay me, I can create a schedule for you for half the price.

Good one, along with this internet access. Internet should not cost $50-$60.

Most high end luxury clothing brands. Unless they're made in a 1st world country and use very high quality fabrics, no way anyone should be paying $50+ for a t-shirt, etc...

Adding in property tax. What a bunch of BS. Also, not sure how it's handled in other states but in my area of CA, you're locked into property value at the time of purchase. So you bought your house in 1960, you pay taxes on the 1960 value. Basically incentives no one to move and fucks every new owner. As they have to raise property taxes extremely high for new owners to get same amount of money. Where if anyone paid market rate, on a whole every owner would be better off.

We fish well offshore quite a bit in the gulf stream; Yeti coolers are amazing.
