Inspired by a tweet I saw:

If you could have the answer to one unsolved murder, which would you choose? It's Hae Min Lee for me. Not technically unsolved, but I have questions!

I guess the “big” one. Was LHO really the lone killer of JFK?

The Maura Murray case has always intrigued me but if I had to choose one I will go local with the Brian Schaffer case.

Would like to find out what happen to him that night at Ugly Tuna.

I am surprised I am the first to say it, but Jeffrey Epstein would be my #1 at this point.

I think most people don’t care bc of the huge piece of shit he was. But I know you mean what other piece of shit had him killed so he didn’t get outed.

First two episodes of The Confession Tapes on Netflix is the story of Sebastian Burns and Atif Rafay being charged in the murders for Rafay’s entire family. I don’t think there’s a single chance either of them did it, yet they’re sitting in a maximum security prison.
Would like to know what really happened. That episode really creeped me out.

I think most people would like to know who killed him and why.  His mystery has more implications in present time than any of the other unsolved murders mentioned in this thread so far.

Jonbenet Ramsey. Not the most historically important case, but there has never been a good explanation.

OJ - what really happened?

I'll tell you what really happened - OJ almost cut his wife's head completely off and then stabbed Ron Goldman a dozen times when he happened upon it.

I’ll help ya out. Watch the trial, then turn it off before the verdict and have OJ be guilty.

I wouldn't be surprised, but I wouldn't have convicted him, and I still have questions.

Her brother killed her and their parents were trying to protect him.

There are some good ones on here, and now I get to spend time doing Wikipedia deep dives, which is one of my favorite activities.

Some other local good ones:

Joey Labute went missing during Arnold Weekend  was found in the river a few weeks later and cops don’t think he was in the river the whole time

Tyler Davis was drinking with his wife and partying at Easton. They got into a disagreement and he went for a walk. He was never seen again.

Shaker Heights the Lisa Pruett murder.

Jennifer Kesse

She's probably dead, but is officially a disappearance.

Someone moved her car shortly after she disappeared and was caught on surveillance footage. Unfortunately, the subjects face was obstructed by a fence on every frame of the video.
