Great, although I hate the symbolic dates attached to such things.

So do I, but it’s also a lot better than the standard, “We’re moving in the right direction. But still not quite there.” Especially from a liberal city and mayor.

Well, yeah. And it will be him as we blow through the 4th of July with the mask mandate still in place.

First, we have still not seen research showing asymptomatic spread is a real thing.  Early on they said no, and then research supported that.  That made some people very upset, so they kind of walked it back.

It is true pre-symptomatic people can spread it, and I believe the viral load is actually highest 1-2 days before symptoms appear.

Viral load is the key thing to remember.  The odds that a vaccinated person gets this, and a severe enough case to have a high viral load to give other people a serious infection, is virtually nill.

Time for the mask madness to end.  Society has become obsessed with reducing preventable deaths from very very tiny to 0.

This is the thing that people just stopped talking about and annoys me the most. It makes catching it outside virtually impossible.

But every time more than 12 people show up to the same outdoor area, it's a super spreader event (only in Florida and Texas). That's the rules...

The concept of "dosage" is apparently too complicated for most people.

And, remember, we live in a society where people have actually studied the effects of third hand smoke (the particles lingering on clothing and furniture days and weeks later).

God help us when woke meets junk science.  And, yes, I realize that is happening already.

I think at this point, people like Daddy Dewine are just tripling down on the idea it’s still dangerous when they know damn well it’s over.  If they pull the plug too early everyone will know they are idiots

I always enjoy the criteria that goes along with it. You can have the mask off on a bus only if the window is open. “Hey, you want detention? Either put the mask back on or open the window. You’re going to get someone killed.”

Only 25 min from my school. Our one 4th grade teacher’s kids go to Blanchester.

We might as well be without. Way too lax to matter.
