Since we are talking about contemplated purchases a dry aging fridge is on the horizon.

curious how it's different from a normal fridge. but i don't hate the purchase at all.

my future purchase is increasingly looking like a new home in OK. it appears as thought i'm going to get jetted in a regime change at my current job and i've lined up a couple options in that case, the best of which is in OKC again. I love OKC but hate having to move again and definitely hate moving away from our original home. though i'll say that OKC increasingly felt like my new home the longer i lived there. its a weird feeling growing up and coming to that realiztion, that home isn't home anymore.

Maintaining temperature and humidity.  You can dry age in your fridge I have done it for years.  If its your main fridge you get a lot of opening and shutting of the doors.  I want to get into longer age times so I want a more controlled environment.

Have you tried the dry aging bags? I think they let air out but don't let air in.

I have not.  But it looks interesting so I am going to give it a try to see what results I get.

I get what you’re saying.  I was born and raised in Columbus.  I lived there a couple of years after college, but have basically been gone for 25+ years.  Cleveland is where I’ve lived >50% of that time, with stretches in the southeast, Indy and St. Louis.

I love Columbus, but Cleveland feels more home to me now.  My daughter grew up here, so that’s part of it.  Also Columbus has changed so much from the place it was when I was growing up.  It feels like theColumbus of my childhood doesn’t exist anymore.  Nothing wrong with that, but that’s the reality.

Yep, super comfortable. I was a huge fan of the 574 Sport they released a while back, but then they screwed with the design and now I can't find them anymore.

Contemplating a humidor.

This one, specifically.

https://www.amazon.com/Octodor-Humidor-Hygrometer-Humidification-Accessory/dp/B07Y5GK92B

Bought it. Actually bought it from the company website since they offered free shipping, I found a 10% coupon code, and they didn't charge sales tax. Ended up about $40 cheaper than Amazon.

Bought a 6 seater hot tub with a lounge seat for our new extended patio. We’ve had it for around 60 days and I bet we’ve been in it 50x.

All week this week get home from work, dinner, walk dog, 15-30 min of yard work…..hot tub and watch Reds

Surprised how much I like it and how good it feels on my old legs and feet.

Wife has wanted one forever. Got my 20 year cancer insurance policy check back (as never used it) and that paid for a huge portion of all of it. Have to wait until August to get roof extension but it’s been a great addition.

Macbook Air M2. Got a solid discount using the Education store. They don't check/validate a thing.

We're in the market for a new 32-40" tv so I'll probably jump on a good deal if I find one. Our electric water kettle just crapped out in a storm so I'll probably look for a replacement for that as well.

I subscribed to some deal for a 40” smart TV a few weeks for Prime days. It was limited, so I don’t find out until tomorrow if we get it but we just need something for our sunroom so this would be a great deal.
