iPhone Battery Replacement

Anyone taking Apple up on it's battery replacement? After apple got caught slowing down older phones (to "save them". and if you believe yadda yadda yadda) they've now offered cheaper battery replacements. However, it sounds like the demand is intense!

I signed up for an appt, but sounds like I could be waiting as long as late spring/early summer. Has anyone else tried to get their battery replaced? Wondering if the demand is less in Ohio or other places.

So you have an appointment, but they don’t have the batteries? Or you couldn’t get in until then?

I’m contemplating it. I have a 6s but I’m also thinking about just upgrading to the X or maybe just the 8.

I have a 6s plus and def interested. I’ll wait for the rush to die down but my battery is garbage right now. To be honest I don’t even know how new phone contracts work or when I’m actually eligible for an upgrade, I like this one fine just wish it had better battery life.

Yeah it sounds like you have to make an appt just to get your name on the list. Then you can get it weeks+ later. Anyway, some lists are saying Summer right now due to work orders and lack of batteries. So if you want to do I'd suggest doing it now as apple says only 2018 will get the battery for cheap. Unless they face backlash that it.
