This is kinda seasonal but I always enjoy a good piece of cheesecake with the raspberry topping

Alsoy wife makes a yellow cake with some sort of whip cream topping with cream cheese mixed in...then strawberry glaze and quartered strawberries. It’s a big hit that goes fast when we have company over.

Basic box of brownie mix made with 1.5 cups english walnut halves mixed in, no icing, served warm with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, maraschino cherry, and drizzled with chocolate syrup.

My oldest daughter and my son have birthdays 3 days before and 2 days after Christmas.  She likes plain basic cheesecake, the recipe calls for 2.5 lbs of cream cheese to go in with the standard eggs, sugar, vanilla.  He likes cookie sheet cake, chocolate cake on a large high walled cookie sheet, thick fudge icing with whole pecans in it, served plain or topped with vanilla ice cream.  My wife likes peach upside down yellow cake.

There are many desserts I love, but it's hard to beat just a brownie and vanilla ice cream.

Not a baklava fan but how is Turkish different?

At home, devils food chocolate cake with chocolate icing.  Apple crumb pie is runner-up.

At a restaurant, either rum bread pudding or bananas Foster.

Cake

Brownie

Ice Cream

Not to into the sweets per se, but my favorite one of those would be creme brûlée.

Turkish baklava is the original, but the primary differences are the amount of layers (greeks use more) and the turks use a light syrup they make.  Greeks use honey for their baklava, which makes it a heavier dish when you eat it.

I had some cinnamon pumpkin donut holes at a Pete's Coffee....they were incredible, at least the best donuts I've ever had.

Fudgy brownies with vanilla ice cream. Nuts are the devil.

I like cake, but I don't like frosting. Not a fan of most pie or cheesecake. Hate anything with coconut.

I'm not huge into desserts, but at a restaurant I like Tiramasu, Creme Brulee, or some Gelato.

I love just about any dessert.  I have a sweet tooth, and I like things very rich in flavor.  Love my aunt-in-law's peanut butter pie.  It's rich and incredible.
