Not talking you specifically, but I can imagine a lot of people are more concerned about getting their dog groomed than they are getting their hair cut.

That's me. I can go into June or July without cut and color, but my dog is a shaggy monster. I'm going to cut his bangs myself.

Yeah, our dog needs it more than we do, too.

ODH shut down school facilities through June 30.  OHSAA followed suit with no contact for however long schools are closed.

No summer league anything. I wish we knew if XC was a definite or least a likely. No XC and my kid would keep doing track speed workouts and lifting....but with XC he’ll just log big miles and not much speed stuff:

My wife trimmed the back of my hair last week and around my ears. Then she cut the hair in my dogs eyes. His has grown back already and is covering his eyes again. He will probably have to be shaved for the first time since we got him.

I actually joined Hammer n Nails in Westerville. It’s a men’s grooming shop. I get a cut and straight razor shave every month. I love going there because you get free bourbon will you get your services done. I kept my membership going so I’m racking up credits the longer this goes. I’ll probably spend a whole day there drinking getting a cut shave pedicure and manicure when it reopens.

Saw your lockdown in Ohio extended through May.
Starting today in illinois, you must wear a mask if you leave the house.

I'll nominate another group. Those pushing for opening, opening, opening everything immediately, not due to any rights issues, but because they're one paycheck away from economic disaster. If one wants to argue the state has no right to close up parts of the economy, that's an argument that can be made. That the economy is a disaster because 78% (Forbes, early 2019) of Americans literally live paycheck to paycheck, about 80% of that 78% should GFT. Your irresponsibility is not a reason to be considered in a public policy discussion. Stop sucking at life.

I am with you in the aspect I hate people who are financial irresponsible and think it is everyone else's responsibility to help them out, but I won't go as far as your entire point.   For starters, if people are living paycheck to paycheck, I'd much rather them do that if it means they are not being provided government assistance. Also, what about the people who have been saving and their bank account is being drained?  What is the proper amount saved for you to say it is ok for them to bitch?  I would assume you have to factor age into that answer.  I don't care if you have 100K saved for rainy day or living paycheck to paycheck.  Nobody likes to have their bottom line affected, especially when the government purposely shut them down.

I think public support is really starting to dwindle. Initially, it seemed most people were like “okay this sucks but let’s just get on with it” and with six weeks of mostly nothing happening - in most of the country anyways - and the lockdowns being extended another month, people are really getting pissed off.

Surprised to see Ohio go that much longer.

Reinforces my thought that I'm in this until June, probably beyond. FUCK.

Is there any concern about this for asthmatics?  I've never lived with one, but in my admittedly very limited medical knowledge on the subject, it doesn't seem that far-fetched to think a mask might slightly impede someone's ability to take a full breath if they have respiratory issues.

Not that catching a virus which attacks the respiratory system would be better, of course.  Just curious.

Based on a meeting yesterday I don't think I'll be back in the office until 2021.

No, we have to eradicate the virus completely before we can leave our houses.

No, we have to wait for everyone to feel safe after we eradicate the virus, before we can leave our houses.
