You said this a couple weeks ago:

"Anyone paying attention and can understand statistics knows that the rise in cases is based on two factors: more tests and the protests."

So yeah, you were saying all not that long ago.

You also gave a poster shit (can’t remember who) for only being concerned about traveling, yet here you are putting yourself in positions (large gatherings) that can easily get you the virus mask or no mask.  You have been on your high horse this entire time during this pandemic and yet since you wore a mask you deemed it ok to go to a protest to put yourself and others at risk.  Using your logic, we should have full stadiums, schools should open, there should be full bars/restaurants (indoors) etc. as long as everyone wears a mask, right?

Perhaps you missed the part where I also stated it was outdoors, I stayed distant from the people I did not go with, and I stayed home for over a week after the protest. I did my best to keep myself and others safe during and afterward. If you're going to do something risky, take precautions during and after. This isn't difficult. I'm not going to bars or going on vacations and then going out into my community sans mask and acting like everything is normal.

If y'all think that makes me a hypocrite, that's fine. I participated in something important to me, and tried to do it as safely as possible. If getting a drink at a crowded bar is that important to someone, then sure, I guess they should go ahead and do it. None of that changes the fact that whining about a piece of fabric over your face is stupid.

Considering your posts regarding Covid, it does make you hypocritical. You put yourself in a high risk position, because in your eyes you did what was necessary.

This is why I said I can’t decide who is more annoying between the anti mask people vs the perceived morally superior mask people.  The more truth that comes out from the latter group, the more full of shit they become.

I absolutely put myself in a risky situation. Then I stayed home so that I didn't put my community at risk. And yes, I believe there is a big difference between protesting racial injustice and going to a crowded bar, or refusing to wear a mask in a store.

Not wearing a mask inside a gas station with few people in a level 1 or 2 county is far less risky than going to a protest with 1000s even with a mask on.

Yes, but more risky than not wearing one, no matter the risk level.

Not surprised the dipshit crew (like that, icl, and jmog) have somehow turned this into an anti protestors convo and calling people hypocritical.

“Everyone should where (for jmog) masks in public”  is all that’s been preached on here today. Yet somehow we’re talking about BLM, antifa, fab going to a protest, and thinking that saying that phrase means you’re a morally superior hero.

The dipshit crew should actually work in politics, because that’s exactly how it goes: we’ve got nothing, so let’s change the conversation and turn it around on our opponents.

S&L’s insults are getting more creative by the post.

All I said is I couldn’t decide who is more annoying and you turned out once again to be the biggest butt hurt crybaby out of it, because it didn’t fit 99.9% of your stance.  Like clockwork S&L gets rattled again over a simple comment. I didn’t even mention any names and the insecurity ramped up immediately with you.

Just admit you do this  for yourself  and you really don’t care what others do nor are you trying to help. It will make you feel better, I promise little guy.

Edit: Also, fab brought up going to a protest dumbass. She is the one who opened herself up for being called a hypocrite. If you’re going to be on your high horse you better be perfect.

Yes, I brought it up. I'm not embarrassed about going and I've never claimed to be perfect. After putting myself at risk, I isolated in order to keep my community safe. That's been my goal this entire time, and I do the best I can. If others would do the best they could, we'd be a lot closer to ending this shit. Being anti-mask is not doing the best you can. Feel free to call me a hypocrite. My feelings aren't hurt.

Actually, LT's not the one who hasn't matured since the early days of the site, IMO.

I’ll actually bow out of the convo, because it’s taking away from the main point that they’re hypocrites and anti mask people are wayyyy worse than protestors.

Going pretty well. All numbers are down. I think it’s a combo of many  high risk people died at the front end unfortunately and now low risk people are getting it and don’t even know. I base this unproven theory on the fact many doctors are arguing the the virus is getting weaker here and not many people are following any guidelines (social distancing, masks, sanitation, etc).  Everything has pretty much opened up with guidelines and there has not been a drastic spike yet. Fingers crossed. The lockdown here sucked, and I hope it doesn’t happen again.
