Looking at hitting Cleveland for a short weekend.  Planning on hitting the RnR HOF and the wife wants to see the zoo.

Where is the best place to stay?  On the lake?  Where is all the good local resturants?

I like Ohio City better than downtown for restaurants

Don't know much about hotels, but if Zoo is part of plans and don't mind driving into downtown/flats, I'd consider closer to airport for better hotels and better price

Then stay at the Hilton downtown. It’s nice, new and right in the middle of things.

I like the 9, but I am usually wanting to be close to Jacobs Field, Browns Stadium, Casino (kinda), and 4th Street. Plus the bar in the bottom is baller -- converted bank vault.
