I just got a random saying according to state public health records that I'm up for a booster shot. I'lll probably get it early December.

Anyone get it yet? I'm hearing mixed reviews regarding side effects. From nothing, to full on dead for a day.

I'm also reading that people with Pfizer are opting for Moderna booster? Why?

Got the Moderna booster a week ago. Grew a third eye and my left nut dropped off.

Actually, had a sore arm for a couple of days.

I got the Moderna booster. It was worse than 2nd shot for me. 2nd shot I felt kinda blah. Booster shot I got a fever and chills that night then a headache for 2 days after that.  It went away though.

I'll get it when it's my turn.  Apparently, the efficacy goes back up to like 95% even against Delta.  So it seems like a major driver of breakthrough infections has been waning immunity.

Moderna, probably because the doses were higher, has held up better than Pfizer.  And although similar, the theory is mixing vaccines provides some enhanced protection.  But I've not seen any definitive research addressing that question.

I had chills & low-grade fever after the second Pfizer dose.  So I will almost certainly NOT switch to Moderna for the booster.

If the booster shots are as bad as the second round for many people, much less worse, then buckle up.  Also, WTF even Russia doesn't have vaccine mandates.

Assuming this is why people are opting for Moderna. I haven't researched either.

My 2nd Pfizer just made me incredibly tired for a day, felt like I came off a 3 day bender. I was going to go next week, but I can't afford to be down for a day.

Boosted last Tuesday with moderna. After second shot I had fever, chills, body aches for 24 hours and was in bed most of the day.  This booster I had aches and was fatigued for around 12 hours.  I took AM off from work and went in after lunch. Fine the next day.

Got the Pfizer booster Sunday morning. Had a  sore arm, upset stomach, and incredibly bad attitude in the afternoon. The wife said it was because of the Bengals performance, but I’m sure the vaccine had something to do with it

Or I can just assume Pfizer had to present all that research when the FDA approved the booster....

Well, I don't have to just take Pfizer's word for it....I trust the regulatory bodies of Israel, UK and US that reviewed it and determined the data was compelling.
