Yes, do that. Then just bet against them in the FF/Title game as a hedge.

So what's the strategy when hedging?
Por ejemplo:
Say he puts $10 on Xavier to win the 'ship at +4200. Xavier gets there and are heavy underdogs. Alabama ML is -200. Do you just bet $20 to cover the potential $10 loss or do you bet more?

Would be a $420 payout. So yeah, I would put like $25 on Bama and then in title another $20. Could also take a look at the title odds once the FF is set. If Creighton gets there, with Kansas State or MSU, or something. You'd be able to put a smaller amount on them and still cover the $10 and make money.

You would bet as much as you wanted to guarantee a cash.. so if you know that say if Xavier wins the game that you collect 4200 let’s say. Then you might bet 2000 on the opponent so that you guarantee yourself to win a certain amount. Hopefully it wouldn’t be -200. You might be even in a spot where u could bet Xavier with the points and they could lose but you still win.
Ok that all makes sense.
Oh yeah, if X was a favorite, you 100% take the other team and the points. That way you can try and middle. But guaranteed to win one of the bets (Xavier wins, and if they lose, the other team obviously covers the spread).
posted by QuakerOatsTook Poston to win today vs Im + 155; have Rory to win it all at +900
Took Wallace for T10 in the other event.
Took North Texas to win NIT at +290
Still have Alabama to win NCAA + 750
Put a buck on Princeton at +15,000
And had $5 on the Penguins OVER last night at -102, and Rust scored an empty netter with 19 seconds left for a 5-2 win.
To be sure I jinx it, Wallace is in 3rd place after round 1

1u Randle O39.5 Alt PRA -112
Both Quickley bets hit so I'm in the green for the night. Just need one more assist from Wagner in the 4th. Randle isn't really close but could still hit with a big 4th quarter.
Wagner hit so I'm +3u minimum on the night. Also took Allen O10.5 REB against the Nets and was sweating it earlier since he only had 2 at the half. He's up to 8 and there are still a few minutes left in the 3rd so that looks pretty good now.
My brother-in-law sent me a parlay he did on NCAA tonight and I tailed but Arkansas +9.5 alt spread isn't looking good. A couple other dumb parlays that probably won't hit on NBA as well.
Went 5/5 on NCAAT. Of course couldn’t parlay them because I had to wait for golf bets to finish. Ugh.
Gonzaga, KST, UConn ML. FAU point. FAU/Tennessee under
Ended up hitting a +329 parlay on the OKC/LAC game and then a last minute Gonzaga ML bet. A nice +6u day.
Crushed the FanDuel boost of both UCLA/Zaga scoring 70 each.
Was a little worried at half with the Zags, but obviously that turned out okay.
UConn -3.5 was nice too.
Hoping to hit some golf matchups today then have another good NCAAB night.
I didn’t touch the NBA last night. Felt good actually lol.

Have Rickie, Morikawa, Tom Kim, Davis Thompson, Rory to win group goin today. McNealy is already eliminated.
About to go thru the lines for today and make a few bets. Probably only the AM wave, as I got screwed having money tied up in afternoon wave yesterday and missed a chance to parlay all 5 of my bets, which went 5/5 in NCAAT.
Ok, singles .5 U:
Parlay Ladder of them all:
With about 9 minutes left in KSU game, took 'Yes' game will go to OT at +880. All I did.
Still have Poston to win his group, great comeback yesterday after being down 3 with six to play.
Matt Wallace now tied for lead in the other tournament, fingers crossed.
JT Poston > McNealy
Si Woo Kim > Kuchar
lets get it!
Any good bets on the NCAA tonight?
How do we feel about an alt spread on Alabama giving plus odds?
-16.5 at +350
-13.5 at +235
-10.5 at +150
FanDuel has a boost on Alabama and Texas to both win from +100 to +175.
