I’m in the minority but I’m not really trying to make any money, anything significant anyways. It’s fun and can make games interesting you wouldn’t otherwise care about.

That is my philosophy as well. Great to have skin in the game and make games way more interesting. My wife will joke, why we watching a blowout and then realize I am on the spread.
My buddy amd I have a decent process where I take the lead on college and him on the NFL/ NHL.
It has sustained us for a few years going now. We are up both in college and the NFL this year.
I'm certainly not in it to lose money, though lol.
I am ok losing a small amount, which I have. I look at it as a form of spending for entertainment -- but with a chance at making it profitable.
I’m not looking to lose money either. It’s been active for over a week and I’ve spent maybe ten dollars. I’ve lived off those “wager on x team to score a point” bets. They’ve done that with the bengals I think twice and there was one for OSU bball to hit a three pointer. I imagine those will be going away soon? I could win decent money tonight if TCU wins.
But I’m never going to invest much money. A little bit here and there. I’m actually kind of frugal so this was never going to be a big thing for me.

They are prominent initially, but stick around longer than you'd think. But yes, they eventually stop and then you get them sporadically at the start of seasons (like NBA opening night, etc).

Oh, agree too. I rarely make a big unit bet. I did make one last night that paid off, Lions.
I joke, I make a profit in football season so I can lose it the rest of the year.
I may take TCU tonight, and buy it up to 14. But, the fact TCU is so public has me worried.

I dont like tonights game at all, no feel. I might wait and see if Georgia gets up 7-0 or 10-3 or something. TCU live line will jump up. My best wins have been live lines recently. Vegas is pretty spot on setting those initial lines, so when one jumps 5-6 points early, I usually jump on it and plan on the game script to play out close to the initial one.
They definitely are tempting you to bet TCU.
Just put a bunch of free money on the game tonight. One win would be nice.
61 points scored tonight would make me quite happy.
Put a $50 free bet ona for leg parlay
UGA - 12.5
Over 63.5
Duggan to score
Bowers to score.
+750
Easy money
Glad I stayed away from last night CFP final besides the over. Yikes.
Laley, what golfer(s) you like this weekend? Everything I have seen is people loving Kim this weekend.

I'm not betting Tom Kim at like 10/1. Golf is too hard to back a favorite almost any week, but especially a more unproven one, though he will be a star it seems.
Only bet I have made so far is Brian Harmon at 22/1. Ill make the rest tomorrow sometime. But may take it easy with NFL playoffs all 3 days

Yeah seems like crazy odds right now for a win.
Based upon what I have seen from guys you suggest to follow:
Kim Win +1100
Im Win +1200
B. Steele T5 +1300
Hideki T10 +175
Hoge T10 +270
Montgomery T10 +330
Kuchar T10 +500
One trend that has played out over the years almost 100%, the winner of this event played in the TOC the week before. So your sheet should be narrowed to like 25 guys.
I’ve had some luck betting against the Phoenix Suns, especially the under. They’re really banged up right now and struggling to score. They’re at Golden State tonight who gets Curry back. Might bet on the under (230), but idk about the -12.5 warriors to cover.

I might give Hoge some consideration

Yeah, thankfully hitting the over softened the blow.
I also made up the loss tonight with betting against the Jackets. Been pretty profitable so far this season. Betting against them and the Ducks has worked so far.
Nevermind on the Suns.
Hit on another parlay though so came out slightly ahead on the night.
Glanced at the slate for Wednesday. Haven’t looked into injury reports yet. We’ll see how much Denver is favored by against the Suns. Might couple that up with Milwaukee (-2) at Atlanta, maybe take a Sacramento (-9) over Houston as well.

If only you could get your hands on a sports almanac from the future...
