The Looter, No..........The Arsonist, Yes.
Should there be a standard minimum of 10 years prison term without parole or legal negotiation for looting, rioting individuals who are caught and or identified in the act of stealing, destruction of property?

I would say 2 year minimum at the least; 10+ if armed.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about the guy stealing a tv. A 10 year minimum is way too harsh for that crime.
Arson is another thing. Throw the book at anyone caught setting a building on fire.
No.
My post needs further clarification. I'm okay with the police station being burned to the ground.
Not local businesses.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm "OK" with the police station being burned to the ground. Arson is despicable in any case. However, I would say that I am much more understanding of rage being directed towards the complete destruction of a police station (guilty party) rather than a local mom and pop shop (innocent party). I have less than zero sympathy for anything that happens to a person destroying the latter.

That is bullshit.
I'm not actively cheering it. But the destruction of the police department makes actual sense. Destroying business does not. Sorry to offend your delicate sensibilities, guys.
I'm also not convinced the police didn't set it ablaze when they abandoned it, anyway.
Perhaps the department building had underlying health conditions. You just never know...

Why do you always do that? You say something dumb, someone disagrees/calls you out, and you make that post. You’re very sensitive these days.
No, I'm truly sorry.

A Baltimore police officer looted pharmacies for drugs during the the riots after Freddie Gray was killed. He gave them to a drug dealer he had been working with. 🤷🏼♀️

I'm down with giving a hearty "hopes and prayers!" to the cops who got their station burnt down!
This looting and burning need to stop if 10 years is harsh, so is the years of building a business and having innocent livelihoods destroyed.
10 years end of topic ... loot and burn there is a price 10 years, deal with it, or stop doing it. Note: $1000.00 reward for the turning in and conviction easy way to make money than doing wrong.
This is acts of violence and criminal behavior those doing the looting and burning could care less about the victim of a senseless act of police and the death of Floyd. What they have done is take away from the main issue and explored the perception of the wrong image of individuals. This does nothing but hurts Black communities and community development and that in its self is a crime. Black on Black crime of a different level.
