Too hot?

That's when most of Europe goes vacation. Everything is overcrowded and overpriced. A lot of businesses will be closed too (if you aren't at the beach). You're better off in July or even early September.
Amsterdam is really cool though.
It’s for a festival, a huge one, so I’m expecting it to be crowded anyway.
My gf is currently in limbo regarding leaving the country. If she gets the document she needs in the next few months we are good, but I’m expected a very long wait. So it’s possible it won’t happen at all.
Sucks too because I’m finding great flight prices.
So far, no plans unless spending a few weekends driving 45 minutes or so to a friend's campground area at Mohican counts (which isn't exactly on the level of Alaska and Charleston and wherever). Did a 5 day weekend trip to Watkins Glen last year when they were hosting a 6-hour IMSA event which was a lot of fun. Seneca Lodge is as good of a racing bar as I've been to and their home-brewed beer is great. And the scenery around that area was really nice.

Let me know if you have any other questions while you’re here. It’s been hot af with heat indexes well into the 100’s. One of the towns was up to 119 yesterday…
Costa Rica In Sept. AirBNB near La Fortuna in the rainforest
Just finishing up a week in Missouri. Few days in StLouis and few days in Branson. I liked StLouis, Branson sucked and I wouldn’t care to never go back. The trip was more so centered around our two kids and they both had a lot of fun so I guess that’s all that matters.

We just rolled into town. It’s hot but honestly doesn’t feel too bad.
posted by Ironman92Early June we are going to Gulf Shores for a week with my family.
Early July taking my family along with dad and stepmom to Nashville for 3 days. Dad is 66 and loves country music and has never been to Nashville so I’m pretty excited for this.
Doing a Reds road trip series to either Chicago or St Louis….whichever best fits the schedule.
Destin was good…..finishing up Nashville as I type this. Dad loved it and after 2 karaoke songs he was swarmed and hi five’d by a dozen 30 year old guys. Dad can sing.
The Reds trip didn’t match up with my son’s schedule so hopefully next year

We just had Lewis BBQ and it was quite good.

So how was everything?

It was a good trip. Lewis BBQ was awesome. We went back on Friday and I got the beef and cheddar Arby’s knockoff and it was incredible.
82 Queen was the best overall meal we had on the trip, which it should’ve been given the check.
Big Gun burgers was a great deal during happy hour. Only $8 for the classic burger and fries.
We did a sunset cruise, a 3 hour kayak tour of Shem’s creek (saw about 10 dolphins and several got very close to us).

Awesome, I still need to try that Friday special. Where did you end up staying? Anything you didn’t like?
We stayed at the Francis Marion for the first 4 nights and the Mills House for the last 3. Mills House was much nicer, and the area was a lot better.
Nothing stands out as a bad experience.
Other places we visited:
Frothy Beard brewing
Munkle brewing
Edmund’s Oast brewery
Ghost Monkey brewing
Palmetto State Armory
