2022 Concerts

Anyone planning on going to any good concerts this year?

We're monitoring Steely Dan at Riverbend in June. It currently has a vaccine requirement so we're unwilling to buy tickets until that's lifted. I have a feeling it's not going to happen so we will likely miss out on that show.

We're definitely going to the Outlaw Music Festival in Indiana to catch Willie Nelson, Jason Isbell, and Charley Crockett. It's coming to Cincinnati with Willie and ZZ Top, but even though I love ZZ Top I'd rather see Isbell and Crockett.

We will hopefully be going to a Travis Tritt show in Newark in July. One of my favorite musicians (Leroy Powell) is touring with his band this year so it would be cool to see him backing a guy like TT.

We will definitely see Arlo McKinley somewhere this year, just not sure where.

We're also planning on going to Joshua Ray Walker + Joslyn & The Sweet Compression in Hamilton for a free concert. Both acts, based on limited listening, seem very good.

Going to this festival for sure. Love the lineup.

Before we move back to Ohio we’re going to the Zac Brown Band at the US Soccer HOF introductions and Lee Brice at TPC Byron Nelson.

Seeing Kenny Chesney with Dan + Shay and Old Dominion next weekend in Charlotte. That’s all we have tickets for this year, but hopefully we can get to something else.

Tim McGraw - May (Jacksonville)

The Black Crowes - June (Jacksonville)

Matchbox 20 - July (Jacksonville)

Keith Urban - August (Jacksonville)

Shawn Mendes - October (Atlanta)

Alabama - November (St. Augustine)

I might catch a few more as they get closer (Brooks & Dunn, DMB, Incubus, or Zac Brown Band). I intend to make up for the last two years.

My wife is also going to see New Kids on the Block this Summer in Jax.

Great show, outstanding band behind him. He can't hit the high notes anymore, but compensates well.

It’s not a cheap ticket, but I’m probably going to do it to see one of the all time greats

Chris Stapleton/Margo Price received a glowing review in the Cbus paper today. Sorry I missed them.

You sure it's the Chili Peppers and not the Chili Pipers?

I’m not a country fan but I would have liked to see both of them.
