I wasn't happy about the playoff losses. They did make the playoffs, though. Which was nice for a second.

I could be wrong, but I've seen where the average sports fan is slightly conservative. Again, average. And, this board is a bunch of white guys from Ohio. I'd say the average white guy from Ohio is conservative.

It's been a few years, but I remember something alluding to that fact. Or I could be a fucking idiot. 

But again I wonder why it matters if the site leans left or right? I accept all viewpoints as long as you're not an asshole.

This points to me being wrong, at least as far as the NFL is concerned. Though that independent middle could sway it either way. 

But given this site was born out of an Ohio high school football site it doesn't surprise me there would be a right-lean.

It doesn't matter. All I did was point that out (and it's a little more than "right leaning"), and everyone went crazy. Ironically, the ones that went crazy are the ones that are right leaning but don't like to admit it.

Re: Sports fans. I'd say it depends on the sport. MLB fans in general would be more right-leaning, but NBA fans would be more left-leaning for example.

Re: This site. I'd say it's moderate-right overall, but comes off as more right-wing simply because the most right-leaning posters don't seem to have much more going on in their lives besides showing off their R credentials, so they flood the place with "stupid progressives" tidbits. And with a lot of those being legit stupid progressives, it's the sort of stuff that the more moderate people either don't respond to or have to agree is stupid. I mean, I'm sure I could throw up a bunch of random links or tweets about stupid racists or dipshit right-wingers, but I actually have stuff going on in my life and have better things to do with it than search out that stuff and post it with the usual "TOLERANT left" or "they are the real enemy!" dipshittery that those people do.

The comment sections on espn basketball and football posts  are very right leaning lol. Of course they’re all telling you they don’t watch anymore.

This. IMO, the NBA fan base is more liberal than conservative. 

Which way would you say ohio high school football fans lean, in general? Given that this place was essentially born out of that niche...
