I agree on the secret society thing, but WaPo over the course of this whole affair has been just as big of a joke.  In fact, people who have been following the Russian collusion story exclusively thru WaPo and NYT are likely to be extremely disappointed, and shocked.

I'm sorry, most of this is straight up conspriacy theory bullshit. It falls in the same camp of the crazy libs that think Trump worked directly with Putin on things. Both ideas there that was a this massive conspiracy by Trump or by the FBI is laughable.

That's good.  Concerning on multiple fronts if they actually "lost" texts.  Does make you wonder, though, how the IRS lost all those emails...kind of convenient to have your back-up tapes corrupted.

I don't think the DOJ is corrupt, but there does seem to be a number of anti-Trump "crusaders" swirling around this investigation.

LMFAO.  The FBI/DOJ - are you fucking serious?  Tape drives have been around for decades.  And, ummm, it's standard procedure to do a back-up before a system-wide upgrade.

Or is your argument that they aren't corrupt, just incompetent?  That would make me feel so much better.

I blame more incompetence than corruption. In the end, I just think more than not FBI agents are more professional than corrupt and that technology issues and odd things happen. Again, this is Gov technology. It sucks sometimes. 

I'm a big believer of Occam's Razor, other things being equal, simpler explanations are generally better than more complex ones. This is why I think most conspiracy theories are bullshit.
