I love this thread. I equate it to the Supermarket tabloid section. It is like something straight out of Weekly World News.

When your senses have been dulled after 8 years of a president who quite literally weaponized federal agencies to take down his political opponents, your reaction is understandable.

Just wait until next week when Quaker is attempting to credibly claim that Bat Boy posed as a spy in the Obama/Clinton coup attempt and has THE REAL STORY about it all. I mean, if he did lead our troops to Saddam's hole (near-direct quote from a WWN cover), exposing this conspiracy should be child's play!

You do realize that 6-8 high level Obama officials are being investigated for FISA abuse, illegal spying on US citizens and lying to Congress right?

Anyone willing to spend several minutes in the weeds learning about the incredible extent of the obama-era spying this is for you.

This is head spinning.  The link title is a misnomer, by the way …..

Tyler shouldn't be on there. He's going to inadvertently break the first rule of Fight Club.

  •  The list featured top figures including then-Vice President Joe Biden, then-FBI Director James Comey and intelligence chiefs John Brennan and James Clapper.

OK, this is getting a little beyond jokes about Biden having dementia.  He knows this is coming out, and he just the other day claims he knew about the investigation but had no involvement.

Number one, why is he trying to spin it when no one who is going to vote for him cares about his involvement?  Number two, did he actually - no joking - forget his request to unmask Flynn?

And now we find out Amb. Yovanovitch was lying at the impeachment hearings.

Whoda thunk?

Anton Chigurh wrote a great article about it in this morning's Area 51 Citizen-Journal.

Susan Rice in Arpil 2017, on PBS:  “I know nothing about that”.

Three months prior, her own email indicates she knew everything about that.

The lies are incredible, but the spying and framing of innocent Americans to subvert a presidency is a conspiracy even far more incredible.

It is a very curious, and unusual, email.  Hard to say it's anything other than CYA, but it's also not proof of anything other than she and others continuously lied on national media.  Well, they're politicians so hardly earth shattering.

What I thought was VERY interesting is Comey saying the communication between Flynn and Kysliak was unusual.  How the hell does the FBI know what's unusual or not unless they routinely spy on people doing their job?  That kind of sounds like a manufactured predicate....

You do know the FBI has a counter intel/ espionage unit right? They have pretty damn good knowledge and understanding of what is usual and what is unusual in discussions between people and foreign officials. Did you not watch the Americans or know the history of Russian assets in the U.S? Hello, read about Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanssen.

And the FBI was not listening in on Flynn at the start, they were listening to the Russians which they always do to make sure no American is trying to pull shady shit. They just caught Flynn saying what they thought was unusual and then followed up. It was so unusual that it was one of the reasons why the White House fired him from his job. The other was he lied to the VP about the nature of the call.

He was fired only because he lied, because he knew he violated the Logan Act which was only used here to try to manufacture witnesses for corrupt intent.

And you don't have a GIGANTIC FUCKING PROBLEM with the FBI monitoring the communications of the incoming NSA?  Bullshit that's normal.  An "unusual level of contact"?  Based on what?!?  You're telling me the FBI has data on what an appropriate level of contact with foreign diplomats is for Administration officials?!?  They didn't really have anything on Flynn, but they were continuing to monitor & unmask his conversations as a routine part of what was going to become his job in a few weeks.  Most people would say that sounds a lot like spying.

Comey made a huge subjective statement about what is usual and unusual.  Their only defense will be subjective.

A counter-intelligence investigation is one thing (and the prez knows about these); a criminal investigation is a completely different thing.

There is no defending what occurred.

Obama didn’t like Flynn because he was going to undo everything obama did for Iran and other enemies, and Flynn was also focusing on China as our #1 adversary (not Russia) which the obama team could not understand because they were so God damn inept.
