I've been skeptitcal of the entire collusion story from the beginning.  And a lot of things I said very early about a possible "conspiracy" are definitely gaining momentum.

Recent reports about implanting a spy or attempted entrapment WOULD be bigger than Watergate, if the liberal media had any objectivity left.  There's also speculation that the whole dossier leak was some sort of gas lighting - they briefed Obama and Trump on it, then leaked the briefing to give the media a reason to report it.

Now, as with nearly everything else in this story, the above may not be true.  The above COULD be leaks intended to weaken and discredit the media, as we've seen many times.  But not all those leaks have been from the anti-Trump people, I don't think.  Pretty obvious some leaks/stories originate from Trump people with the purpose to embarass and discredit WaPo and NYT, among others.

This wouldn't surprise me, whatsoever.

The release of the entire report will be revealing.

Must be a slow news day at Drudge, considering this was already reported months ago.  I guess now you have emails as proof, but the story had been out there.

And how about Mueller indicting Russians, and then when one of the Russian parties appears in court Mueller says he should not have to present the evidence.  They called his bluff.  Talk about the bastardization of our judicial system.  Drain the damn swamp now.

"Perhaps the most damaging new revelation in the report, according to multiple people familiar with it, is a previously unreported text message in which Peter Strzok, a key investigator on both the Clinton email case and the investigation of Russia and the Trump campaign, assured an FBI lawyer in August 2016 that “we’ll stop” Trump from making it to the White House."

“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” the lawyer, Lisa Page, wrote to Strzok.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok responded.

LOL.

I love how you just stopped right there.

The very next paragraph in the story:

Though the inspector general condemned individual FBI officials, the report fell significantly short in supporting the assertion by the president and his allies that the investigation was rigged in favor of Clinton, according to a person familiar with its content, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to share findings before the report’s formal release.

Oh yeah, going to dive right into that 500 pages! [not]

Basically confirms that Comey was a sanctimonious cowboy who, in a very difficult situation, decided to wing it and ignore protocol.  He (and others) clearly made some political calculations, but there's no evidence of bias.  I'm sure a few others need to go, but the major problems are gone, with the exception of Rosenstein.

They expected Hillary to win, and they didn't want to appear to be part of a cover-up.  I don't think this says much about her server, nor will it change anyone's mind with respect to that.  She probably would not have been successfully prosecuted, and she almost certainly deliberately had the server to evade FOIA disclosures.

This has nothing to do with Russia since that wasn't the IG's focus here.

Oh yeah, I just read the Summary ha.

I largely agree and that it confirms there was not some vast conspiracy against Trump that some on here like to claim on the run up to the election.

Sad part is people will cherry pick portions to fit their own narratives.

In an age where it is a badge of honor to oppose Trump with facts and be recognized and celebrated for doing so... I have never seen so much anonymity/anonymous/not named/nameless/undisclosed "reports and facts and sources" in my lifetime (I was a toddler during Watergate, so unaware).

Does anybody else think this is strange? It's the oddest thing.

Uhh, it's always been like this...

Welcome to the party......

I guess you don't remember all the Ken Starr leaks on the Clinton investigation or all the leaks during the Bush years?

I love how you link to a Fox News report instead of the actual, you know, report itself....

I absolutely do. Which is why I said my statement exactly the way that I stated it. I think it's similar but there is a wider scope in numbers this go-round. And I'm saying this as somebody who voted for both President Clinton (the biological male) and President Bush and not for Trump.

I know that many of the legacy medias are fighting for ratings and clicks. However, I think we can all agree that you can oppose Trump on facts - there's no need to stretch imaginations, bait or publish THIS many "those who shall not be named". Especially in light of the fact where you're given a parade of celebrations and attaboys and protections for coming out and stating truths.
