Did it end up true that Kamala didn’t gain a single county in the United States from Biden’s 2020?

I'm surprised Trump didn't pick Jack Nicholson since he was a Colonel in A Few Good Men.

What do you want to discuss now, my favorite color?

Reading about then married Pete Hegseth and his account of coaxing a drunk married woman back to his hotel room in 2017, banging her, and finishing on her stomach while her husband was down the hall...sounds like a couple of classy individuals.

It doesn't sound like rape to me, just a douchebag who lived out a porn scene he'd probably watched 1,000 times.  He'll fit right in to the Trump Administration.

I'm also not expecting Hegseth or Kennedy to make it to his staff.

It'll really suck for Kennedy to go from basically being blackballed by the Ds for not being D enough, or at least not being the D their higher-ups wanted, to then not making the cut list for Trump's administration because the hard-core Rs don't view him as being R enough for them.

Good enough to be in photo ops and to speak at rallies, not good enough for anything else.

I think the concern is that he could be kind of a rogue/wild card and turn on Trump.

I think he'd be awesome for the food aspect of the job because the food companies are getting away with crimes with all of the shit they put in our food.

The establishment R's probably don't want him to try to rock the boat with Big Pharma which absolutely NEEDS to be done.

I don't know much about Gaetz, but I did like how he swung at everybody who let lobbyists make final decisions, including the Republican party. I'd like to see that point hammered over and over until lobbyists no longer write policy.

It is interesting to note how the establishment tried to paint him as a sex offender/trafficker until word got out that Biden's DoJ found nothing credible to the accusations and dropped the case because they couldn't charge him.

As far as Hegseth goes, I really don't like him and am suspicious about his pro war tendencies. But at the same time I don't care that he fucked his handler during a political event. I just don't. If we used marital fidelity as ANY sort of benchmark, DC would become the backwater that it once was. Not that that would be a bad thing!

If the establishment finds a way to prevent RFKJr from becoming a staff member, it will be a definitive turning point against the establishment. If I could give them advice, I'd tell them to walk on eggshells from here on out.

Trump has limited political currency right now, but so does the establishment. On the other hand, he just gained some of that back by Gaetz dropping out. God only knows who he will put up next.

The game being played is always interesting to watch.

Morals fit perfectly for the incoming administration.

Love Gaetz dropped out. He was not remotely qualified for the role.

Funny self own now, as he resigned from Congress, so now his only option is to join a Trump White House. Plus, the House Republicans get his annoying ass out of Congress.

People not overly worried or concerned about Hegseth's history. I'll note, that is the only one we know about and a potential adversary, see China, could easily blackmail him with similar offers. It is a security risk, especially if he will lead the Department of Defense.

Same goes for Tulsi and her history, interactions with Russia and Syria. The Senate needs to fully make sure she is not compromised. She probably is fine, but they need to dig into it and she has to clarify it.

No one should be.  Our incoming DoD Secretary has shown he is not afraid to shoot his missile onto the roof of an enemy cave.  I'm good.

She has met with Putin and Assad over the years. It is a serious question.

When you are involved in the intelligence community or defense industry, it is imperative that you do not have any compromised positions that any country can exploit or use.

I'm not saying she is compromised, just that the Senate needs to confirm she is clear and has nothing in her past that could be exploited.

She is probably fine, but need to make sure as she would head all of the intelligence agencies.

I get what you're saying and ultimately don't have a problem with it. I will say, though, that believing that diplomacy should be exhausted before anything else happens is more of a virtue than a concern.

Sure. But, this county has a history of double agents selling secrets to other countries. Need to be absolutely sure, especially given her role overseeing all of the intelligence agencies.

Same goes for DOD. Need to make sure Hegseth's affairs are not going to be an issue that could get him blackmailed by other countries. The honey pot is a real thing. China could easily exploit that for valuable information.

I'm absolutely sure. Want to know how I'm sure? No court martials.

As for Hegseth, I don't care if he makes it or not.

No you are not. Unless you have been with her every day, you are not absolutely sure.

Again, I think she is fine, but the Senate does need to dig in her last few years to make sure.
