Even with the age of 24, that's still very nanny-ish. Eighteen yrs old to see a commercial or ad is quite old enough. This is dipping into the "muh vidya games make mass murderers!" zone.

More like the Republican version of suing a baker for not making a gay cake.

Surely he has something more important going on in his state.

Things in Texas must be pretty squared away.  Thanks for fighting for us Ted.

I do not disagree, just stating what they were going after, it wasn’t really going after Mulvaney

Let's see if Gblock is astute enough to understand the subtle difference in what he posted below...

Lol knew you’d fall for the lib propoganda. A simple google search shows they were never going to build that complex because Iger didn’t want it. Also in your article: “ He noted that $17 billion was still earmarked for construction at Disney World over the next decade — growth that would create an estimated 13,000 jobs. “I hope we’re able to,” he said.”

LOL.  I saw some leftwingers circle jerking over that the other day but I didn't pay much attention because I couldn't care less.  But that's pretty funny.

I don't approve of some of Desantis' trolling, but I'd say I probably agree with 80% of what he says.  When you actually hear him explain his policies that obliterates the sort of bullshit Gblock posts, you realize he's a very strong candidate.

A lot of stuff going on and constantly being drummed by the usual suspects would make you forget we elected Obama 15 years ago.  And maybe that's the point...

Makes perfect sense.  Learning history of other nations is great, as is learning the (true) history of our own.  Many of the people who flee to the U.S. do so to escape socialist/Marxist regimes.  DEI is an element of cultural Marxism. The people forcing it on us are radical leftists.  It has no place on campus, or anywhere in the U.S.  Same with ESG in the corporate world.  The better educated you/we are regarding why people flee to the U.S., the better equipped we should be to lead the fight against socialism/Marxism and the horrors that go with it.  Buckle up, as we're on the collision course.

Everything about the "he blocked an African American Studies class" has been debunked already. You really should stop parrotting lies.

So did Desantis botch his announcement to run or not?

Apparently he's is being mocked for a bunch of technical glitches and other issues.  I think I'm with Musk on this one - everyone is talking about it, and isn't that ultimately the point?

From what I read, it had glitches, cut out a few times and had to be moved to someone else's Twitter Space or whatever, where it worked -- although that may have been attributed to the number of views falling from approximately 700K to 300K.

As for the "everyone is talking about it, so it's good" angle, I'm not overly convinced. I mean, sure for Musk and the concept of using Twitter as a media outlet -- that's just a matter of upgrading stuff so that having a ton of people viewing something at once doesn't cause it to crash. Maybe the first try didn't work as expected/hoped, but that's kind of how the first try tends to go. You see what went wrong and you fix it for future attempts.

For DeSantis, it's not going to be some sort of campaign-killer, but considering we all know how much Trump loves touting his numbers and how big they are -- often exaggerating those numbers to make them look bigger -- I think it's a safe bet that he/his people will have a field day with this in a bid to paint him as a minor league guy trying and failing to cut it in the bigs. You know, one of those "The one time I declared, it was on TV. A beautiful show, everyone was there. Millions were watching and knew I'd be a winner. Not like him. Where was he? On that one Internet site...it wasn't Truth Social, folks. It crashed, it burned, you couldn't even follow it, it didn't even have a million viewers. I could draw that in my sleep." things.

That is pretty good.  Desantis should strike back with this:

"The announcement was perfect.  Absolutely perfect.  Maybe the most perfect announcement ever.  People have said that.  They say that - they say it was perfect.  They can't believe how perfect it was.  No one can believe it."
