We have had our usual "bash presidential parties" threads, our threads bashing all the left and other threads of that nature. But we haven't had anything (have we?) bashing the right side of the aisle; specifically prominent righties.

I'll start by listing the one that currently drives me crazy the most: Mitch McConnell.

The fact that Kentuckians keep voting this sleazy guy into office is pretty amazing to me. I can't figure out the intended purpose of them doing so.

Since 1985. Let that sink in.

Lindsey Graham. A man with absolutely no dignity or spine, but is good enough at playing the game that he gets a "reasonable" label because he'll occasionally call out someone on his side.

I think Peak Lindsey came out a few weeks ago when he apparently went on some Fox show to basically beg viewers to donate to Trump so he could apparently afford to fight back against his court cases. One of those "Awwww, someone is hoping to be his little sidekick buddy if he proves electable again in '24" moments.

No spine? Sounds like Ted Cruz, who is one my least favorite people in the world.

Chris Christie the dude will do an interview for any media outlet that offers an all you can eat buffet.  I will also throw in Chuck Grassley.  Anybody that runs for an 8th term in the Senate in his late 80's is in the control of others.  If he is still breathing in 2028 "he" will run for another.

Let’s face it, Trump was/is the biggest asshole/douchebag we have had on the National political stage in my adult lifetime (1996+)

Any of the Rhinos in office. We really need term limits

And age limits but that’s been discussed extensively already. Biden 82 and Trump 78 in November next year. No fucking thanks.

Baggage for sure, but don't forget he pushed through about 300 conservative federal judges during the Trump years (30% of US appellate judges), and he kept Garland off the Supreme Court.  Bigly

The Republican establishment is awful and I'm convinced the GOP is controlled opposition.

I like Thomas Massie. When you're pissing off both sides you're likely on to something. I like Cynthia Lummis because she's a bitcoiner. Rand Paul is a nerd but I still like him.

Everyone else can gft.

I am a big fan of Rand Paul.

It's funny because the other night at work we were talking about Massie and I couldn't remember how I even heard about him. I knew it was somebody from here, but couldn't pinpoint who it was that first brought him to my attention. Guess it was you!

I wish there were hundreds more Massies in the House and Senate.

It doesn't get much worse than MJG or George Santos (though more than a few Dems can definitely give them a run for their money).

I really don't understand why Repubs continue to shoot themselves in the foot over ancient views on social issues.  I really don't think abortion is going to keep the Evangelicals home with the myriad of other evils they have to vote against to save 'Murica!

Since Murdoch runs a news organization that is ostensibly republican, I thought this was fitting:

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/fox-news-tucker-carlson-secret-dossier-oppo-file-1234723855/

Between Carlson being vocal against big pharma's covid policy and against war, he was pissing off a lot of people.  I don't know if I believe this story, but I can understand the premise of it is plausible.

Watch his documentary on youtube if you haven't already.

Started following Byron Donalds recently. I like what I’ve seen so far.

So, a black republican who is getting more and more airtime?

It's only a matter of time before he's Clarence Thomas'd

If he has his own ideas and is his own person he will be fine. If he just reads the cards he is given you’re probably right.

He has already been mailed his copy of Uncle Tom's Cabin, been called a "Prop" and supporting policies intent on upholding and perpetuating white supremacy by a fellow member of congress.  This already because he has his own ideas and not reading the cards he is supposed to be reading.

I’ve never heard of him. What ideas?
