The person she is telling this to is a  16 year old kid. So now it's ok, I guess, for elected people to tell kids to fear them.

Elected officials telling anyone they should "fear them" is cringey, and should be a disqualification for public service.

I'd agree. I looked up the tweet she responded to in order to see if it was something that at least would make her response someone justifiable (like an asshole kid giving some "You guys are just scared of Trump because he'll get his wall and you'll be on the other side!" line), but it was just a random smart-ass line about how she was sitting next to ACO and kept looking the other way like she didn't want to be there with her. And if you're so sensitive you feel the need to respond to every little slight against you with that sort of tweet, you probably shouldn't be in office...something as true now as it was in '18!

"Odd" is being very generous.  What's odd is the Democratic leadership even allowed her to publisize this pile of shit.  Of course Kamala, Booker, and Warren immediately endorsed it.  I highly doubt they read one word. 

There are too many things to make fun of, but my favorite has to be the combination of you're guaranteed a job, but also welfare is available for those are are UNWILLING (LOL) to work.

I believe AOC removed it from her website because it was so poorly received. It scares me a bit that so many regressives have bought into the thinking that "fuck it, let's just make everything free". At some point some of the smaller actions will pass as long as the dems continue to get power.

It is things like this (and how they treated Kav) that I don't see myself voting for anyone other than a republican in anything, anytime soon. There seem to be no moderates left in that party

There are some, but they are buried.  So far they have stayed in line with the party, but at what point will they realize the party has left them? 

Also, if the new green deal was ever passed there is no doubt that would be the beginning of civil war 2.0.  This is why we have the 2nd amendment.

There is a 0% chance that bill get passed. 

If you want to win the Democratic primary (unless the DNC treats you the way they did Bernie) all you would do is have to come out and say that this Green deal is stupid, not logical, not feasible, not doable in its current state.

Jesus the vacumn and echo chamber these politicians have is like the popularity contest in middle school.  It has nothing to do with the real world.

Yeah, this is a good point. We'll just have to wait and see what they do. 
 

I'm starting to wonder if they (democrat party) are even trying anymore.  I think it's a fair statement that the dems have lost their identity and are floundering around trying to figure out which direction that Twitter will approve.
