Kind of hard for the media to just now call him mentally unstable when he himself opened up about being bipolar months ago. 

Kanye has been unstable for years. This is not a secret. 

Same people making fun of Kanye for being “bi-polar”/ mentally unstable are the same people who call chicks with dicks women and end their emails with their preferred pronouns.

I had to laugh, because it presents an idealistic (albeit real) stereotype of today's left.

The protests liberals whipped up against Kavanaugh this weekend, on the other hand, revealed too much about their own weakness. Washington, D.C. is a majority Democratic city with a black majority. But the Democratic voters out there yelling about Kavanaugh were as white as any country club gathering of Republicans. They looked like a line of Starbucks patrons — Caucasian, professional, largely millennial, with earth tones and earnest expressions aplenty. Men and women wore the same fashionable glasses and more or less the same clothes. It was a Pumpkin Spice Riot.

I can understand exactly where the writer is coming from. Am I the only one? Does everyone else see it, too?

Both are problematic, because they virtually always come with an assumption: If the race or races of the people involved were different, the outcome would be different.

There's rarely any way to establish that, so it's mostly useless, illogical drivel.

When Obama took office the Dow was a little under 8k. He left it at a little over 17k. Are you going to give him the credit for that growth too? 

 obama benefited due to the statistical anamoly created by the market crash.  Prior to his election the Dow was near 14,000 and at the end of his term around 16,500.  So during his term we got back to where we were, plus about 2,500.  This translates over 8 years to anemic 2% annualized increases, which is less than 1/5th of the normal historical returns.  What has occurred since then speaks for itself.
