What if Starbucks is the top choice of coffee for racists? Does that make it racist? What about the black people that wear MAGA hats? They racist too? 

I’d imagine a large portion of people who wear MAGA shit do so to piss people off who get offended by such a stupid thing.

Ven diagram situation.  Some racists wear MAGA shit.  Some don't.  Some who aren't racists* wear MAGA shit.  Some don't.

*I'm of the opinion that we all have some racist inclinations, to whatever degree, because we live in, and are influenced by, a culture where it is present.

That is a lot of what ifs just to pretend a ton of racists don’t wear maga gear. I actually don’t imagine that. But I know if a few cases. And imo it’s really lame 

In my own opinion, MAGA could be meaning something like 5 years ago, before identity politics took such a big hold on so many people.  Or it could mean let's remember blue collar workers again and not just oil and tech. It could reminiscent of when school (beyond k-12) wasn't so outrageously expensive. Anything really. Probably ask two different people and it would mean different things to them. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a MAGA hat, I also wouldn't get neck tattoos or dye my hair green. Meh.

Anyway happy new year everyone I look forward to this discussion maybe Jan 2nd. Be safe

85% - hoping to trigger people

10% - racist

5% - retarded

I gave several examples of people who aren’t racist and vote for trump etc.. idk people make their own narrative.. “gblock calls the pubs racist” “ gblock said all people who vote trump are racist” .. never said any of that 

Well in that logic, everyone that voted for Obama were racist.  Also, Hope and change thshirts were offensive to most people for being racist.

Not sure where Justin saw it but I saw it linked on Twitter.

I just reread it. It was even more absurd the second time around. I'm really starting to hate the word problematic. Everything is problematic these days.

"If I like their race, how can that be racist?" Jerry asks after telling Elaine that he "loves Chinese women." Hopefully the issues with that exchange don't require further explanation for anyone in 2018.

While the entire article is poorly written, this one was especially terrible. She thinks it's racist, but cannot offer any shred of evidence to back it up, so she cops out with the "I hope I don't need to explain this to anyone, it's the current year!"

What an awful take by that author (whatever the fuck Bustle is). The whole coming after comedy now makes no sense.

That article offended me.  For many reasons, none of which was a point the writer attempted to make.

Especially that the writer doesn't appear to understand the fundamental premise of Seinfeld.
