Looking back when Bill Clinton ran the first and second times, a large part of the reason why he was elected was just because people liked him. He had charisma, told a good story and was often compared to Jack Kennedy. Booker has this aspect.
Yeah, Clinton was hip (playing the sax on Arsenio's show), Bush II was the guy you could see yourself tossing back a couple beers with, Obama was youthful and energetic and Trump had celebrity status and knows how to play a crowd. Compare any of those four to generic politicians like Hillary, who tends to come off as a robot trying to learn how to play human by watching and emulating, and it's easy to see how people who aren't all in on politics following would immediately drift to one over the other.

Well, it seems like most people of political fame wield nuance like a jackhammer, so I'm hardly surprised.
If she were to run, she's pretty much guaranteed California, Oregon, Washington, New Jersey and New York: 113 electoral votes. These are also the states with a high number of postmodern leftism.
That's a huge number for only five states.
