The only thing that would start a civil war faster than trying to repeal the 2nd amendment is trying to ban meat.  Honestly, I think it would bring our country together.

You really get hung up on Fox News – phobia-like.  You can never discuss the issue, it is always just about the messenger.  Sad.

Coming from someone obsessed with "fake news", CNN, NY Times, etc, this is funny.  I picked Fox News since they coined the term "San Francisco Values".  They seem to lead the charge when it comes to reinforcing the image of SF as this trainwreck in progress.  You then often shortly follow with a link on here.  

So substitute Breitbart or one of the other right wing news sources you consume.  

My original question was why you care so much about SF?  It's a weird place.  But it has been that way for decades.  And in those decades, the SF crazies have not managed to take over the rest of the US.  So why is there all of a sudden the crazy paranoia that the lunacy in SF is going to spread and take the rest of us down?  My guess is the only reason you're concerned is because one or more of your thought sources keeps talking about it, so therefore you care.

I know Trump and his people denied having anything to do with that group, but that's pretty awful.

Now I'm not defending what some of these idiots tweet - fair game - but going after family and friends doesn't exactly scream "freedom".

I doubt anyone on this board will be affected.  Typical class warfare.  The Dems love to attack the rich, but no one really talks about globalization being what actually is taking wealth from the poor and middle class.

This won't go anywhere because it's wasteful and unnecessary - we already have a "wealth tax", more commonly known as the estate tax.  Address some of the loopholes and tax shelters (like trusts) and be done.

You look at what these idiots want to spend and it doesn't matter - they're going to destroy whatever wealth people have, which will then make MORE socialism necessary.

Let's be honest. Who actually thought Trump was big on freedom?  I get that he's no worse, policy-wise, than any one of the Democratic challengers for 2020, but come on.

I'd be curious to know if any of them actually understands much about it.  The alarmists have truly become the anti-science crowd.  Anything wrong in the world just gets blamed on climate change.  It does make me smile, though, to see the parents raking it in off their little pig-faced autistic fascist.

Apparently yesterday in an interview, Bernie said China has done more than any other nation to address "extreme" poverty.   I suppose he has a point.  Genocide and placing Muslims in concentration camps is one way to eliminate poverty.

Just another day in Woke 2019, but it's hilarious how much of the media and twitter jumped on climate change causing the Amazon fires. And then you have Macron saying the Amazon gives us 20% of the World's oxygen (wrong) and people gobble it up. I'm extremely jealous of the people who are making money hand over fist from the climate hysteria.
