In the past couple of weeks Israel has just been picking off Hamas and Hezbollah high ranking officials. And in NYC the peaceful protestors openly supporting both terrorist organizations. So much for just sympathizing with Palestinians.

Yes and some of them responsible for killing US marines in Beirut 40yrs ago.  They just targeted the Hezbollah big guy this Nasrallah dude.  Hopefully he is a goner.

Of course women and children are bearing the brunt.

I mean Israel's history in Lebanon is stellar. I'm sure it will end well......what's the worst that can happen...it's not like another terrorist organization will sprout up because of its military action....

Well, then, I guess it's pointless trying to defend themselves and they should just voluntarily walk into the sea.

Or dismantling and demolishing a sophisticated terrorist organization is actually effective because it takes time to build those networks and amass resources.  Perhaps Israel's mistake is not acting sooner in this game of whack-a-mole.

Not disagreeing with you, I am just pointing out, Lebanon has not been a success story for Israel....

The success story in recent history for Israel is they continue to exist.

Also why were dudes responsible for killing 200+ marines alive decades later?

The reason Israel does not act sooner is the hand wringers.  It appears they have had it.

The Hezbo big is dead along with other senior leadership and an Iranian general.  Meeting in the bunker interrupted.   Martyrdom is supposed to be for the other guys.  The muslims are big mad and the hand wringers are big worried so this means big success.

You really make it sound like you are against killing terrorists. That is real centrist of you.

Nope, not at all. Glad Nasrallah is gone. But, Israel has a history of getting bogged down and mission creep in Lebanon.

Hezbollah is a part of the Lebanese government. I'm sure the last thing Israel wants right now is for the government to collapse and fall into another civil war.

It's just more of ... what did Obama call it? Whackamole? Yes, that's it. Any excuse to keep the war machine going. And in this election cycle Kamala's participation in this risks her losing some very important districts in states like Michigan that might cause her to lose those EC votes in those states. The military industrial complex doesn't care too much, because Trump has also said that he'd keep supplying Israel with money and ammo. So the war machine is going to be the winner either way.

The American people will never matter as much as continuous war.

The mission creeped right up on Hezbollah.  Complete intelligence breach.  Leaders picked off, the pagers, no deterrence, and their backers supreme leader wetting himself in a bunker in Iran.  A lot of Syrian rebels happy about these asshats getting dead.

Anything that allows us to keep funding Israel into perpetuity is great.

If I was to suspect what Israel wants, is to kill the terrorists that keep attacking them.

It sounds like you are almost talking about regime change wars like the US tried in the ME for so long, like Israel needs to help Lebanon replace their government or something.

Next in line to replace Nasrallah not heard from since Friday after an airstrike.  No more funds for Isreal.
