Yeah, recently,  but depending on your definition of went into, they have been doing that for years with settlements and other action.

I had been told that some shots were fired today. I know about the WB already. But I haven't looked into it yet (about attacking)

At least 10 dead in latest incursion. 

Media hype.  Does not scratch the surface of what has occurred in the west bank even in recent history.  But it fits the current narrative.

The 2nd Intifada. At least withdrawing form Gaza worked out well.

6 hostages, 1 of them an American, were found executed. They were found in Rafah which Biden and Kamala cried about Israel planning to enter. Israel continues to be really bad at this whole “genocide” thing.

I've never been one of those types who called it genocide. Rather, I call it too fucking expensive for us. But, the military industrial complex wants it. So we will have it. 

And according to Trump, he will continue.

Israel could easily have also agreed to previous cease fire deals to release the hostages too. That is one reason why there are large protests on Israel now. 

Also, how many civilians need to die in order to get the hostages back? 

Yes, Hamas uses them as shields,but Israel still can't ignore them.

To be fair, a ceasefire will never happen as long as we keep sending bombs and myriad supplies.

Negotiating with hostage takers only promotes the future taking of more hostages.  The fault lies with the hostage takers alone.

Israel doesn't need the US to survive or thrive.  They did just fine without our weapons in 47, 67, and 73. 

It's more they do not want to peace as they are unwilling to accept any actual Palestinian state next to them. Netanyahu has said no Palestinian state for years. 

Hamas also does not want peace as it contradicts what they stand for. So, the cycle continues.

Completely disagree. 

That is a very narrow way to look at it.  You are also inviting them to just kill them then if you say you will not negotiate.

It is narrow.  Yet just.  Lay a finger on them and you and your cause dies with them.

Just huh? In what way are tens of thousands of innocents dead just? 

You think a hammer will solve this? Apparently you haven't learned anything over the last 20+ years. Innocent dead only lead to more violence and more pro Palestinian fighters and supporters. 

Think of it from a Palestinian point of view. Why would I ever trust an Israeli when they are taking my land, killing my innocent people, and unwilling to negotiate or acknowledge right to have land? 

Sometimes a hammer is the solution.  

As for the Palestinian point of view Israeli settlers were removed from Gaza and got a chance to turn it into an example, a beacon, a place for tourism, foreign investment pouring in.  Instead they robbed their people and turned it into a shithole.  A base for warfare.

Jews are thriving in the world - primarily in the USA where they are a huge and important part of our society.  There was no justification in forcing Israel onto the map.  And no, without US funding and support, Israel would never have survived.

Force people from their homes into a confined shithole…guys like Hamas happen.  There’s no mystery to it.  Sad for the hostages and sad for the TENS OF THOUSANDS of innocent Gazans revenge murdered.
