The Russians bark about their nukes.  Ptown has posted several times about the massive amount of nukes the Russians have.  It takes three nukes to knock out Russia today.  St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Volgograd.  They will not ever pull the nuclear trigger until that geography changes. I grew up during the cold war when Russia was in control of all of eastern Europe and large parts of Asia.  They want it all back so can have back that power.

Thing is the Russians are sending their minorities and idiots from their far east to be butchered in an effort to overwhelm the front. When the areas around the three Russian cities I mention experience war and I mean their children in mass sent to the front things change.

You may destroy Hamas, but what's left may be just as bad, if not worse, as those remaining Palestinians will see Israel as the enemy still...and the cycle of violence continues.

Destroy worked for Nazi German and Imperial Japan,  Both allies today in this insanity.  Anything short of that you get things like the 38th parallel and perpetual conflict.

One has to ask himself.  Why the campus protest rage on Israel while Russia openly targets civilians literally razing many cites to the ground.  Why do these "protesters" bring down US flags and raise a foreign one in its place.  We all know .

I've had similar thoughts. Where was all the protesting when Zelensky was doing photo shoots for Vanity Fair and going to Hollywood award shows while his people were being slaughtered? Where were all these protests when Hamas baked infants and cut their heads off?

It's anti-Semitism disguised as anti-Zionism.

People would be better off sending their kids to the Hare Krishna's, saving a lot of money and a ton of shame.

Who knows what one of our American heros was doing overseas while the young men back home stared at the line in front of them awaiting the redcoats return volley.  In the end a foreign power directly came to our aid.  The aid provided is nearly equivalent of NATO implementing a no fly zone over Ukraine.

As for Zelensky he has been at the front several times with artillery rounds thumping in the background..  He was just a comedian who became a politician by the frustration of people in his country. He is unwashed in the eyes of the elite. Not acceptable example.

Do you think NATO, US and Ukraine might have participated with some maneuvers over the years that instigated Russia, or crossed a stated line of tolerance? Or do you think that Putin just wants to reenact what Potempkin did centuries ago?

I personally don't give a damn about Ukraine. Never have, never will. Especially when America is sinking under a number of crisis's of our own. Hunger, gang violence, homelessness, wildly outdated infrastructure, addiction in previously unseen numbers, vast crippling mental illness, and so on. We need that money here more than some other country. Not Israel, not Ukraine.

Here.

The government spent like $300m on a temporary pier in Gaza, now reporting that they don’t think any of the aid actually reached the people.

Don't forget the US, UK, Russia and Ukraine signed an agreement after the fall of the Soviet Union that Ukraine gives up its significant number of all its nukes and sign the nuclear non proliferation treaty in exchange for security guarantees.  No participant is squeaky clean in battling for political influence in Ukraine over the last 30yrs.

Only one party in this is using military force to gain total control by annexing Ukrainian land.  Ukraine is a major supplier of grain in the world its one thing to work it by political horse trading and yes at times corrupt.  I do know what I am sure of is a dude that fires missiles at grain silos is not a dude you want in total control of the grain especially if already at the top of the supply chain.

As for Putin he has made his thoughts publicly known.

Hamas is winning the propaganda war.  No one gets to help their people until they turn on Israel or Hamas is descisvely defeated.

Seems like a simple answer

I see Biden approved the upgraded arming of our fifth branch of our military, errr, I mean Israel.  While we all get outraged daily by campus protesters (as it’s designed we do), we continue to arm a theocracy which was forced upon the world by a collective guilt.  Perhaps no other issue brings the parties together like arming our “friends” and paying mightily for the hate they earn from their neighbors.

We’ll just stay distracted and angry by spoiled kids at Ivy League schools camping in the quad and saying “hateful” things.  After all, look who funds the majority of the endowments at those schools.

I've been saying for a while now that we shouldn't be funding either the war between Israel/ Palestine or the Ukraine/Russia war. That money would be better put to use here in our own country.

I think it’s an agreement to sell them weapons, not free aid.

But are we selling? As far as I know, we just keep sending them money.

We "sell" weapons to the Pentagon too.

The current state of Israel is by no means a theocracy.  A few thousand years ago in the same land yes.  This collective guilt thing is used.  Some people are labeled racists for suggesting such a thing in this country.   Looks like you got the problem zeroed.

It’s pretty easy to identify the problem.

Others in history have identified the problem as well.
