So has anybody been keeping up with what's happening? I've only seen some clips of the protests and the aftermath, but then this tweet caught my eye:

Things are looking like they are about to go from awful to horrific. What do you think is going to be the ultimate outcome?
People in HK are publicly advocating for their own 2nd amendment and supporting US values (liberty/freedom/democracy/etc). Meanwhile in our own country, we have people trying/advocating to chip away at these rights. What a time to be alive.
I think the ultimate outcome is going to be unfavorable for HK and will end up getting violent. China is positioning military personnel and they apparently are having people disguised as protesters to attack them.
Freedom searchers there are waving our flag to rally their hopes and dreams. Ignorant jackasses in our country are disrespecting our flag.
