posted by Dr Winston O'BoogieYes, Trump got pwned. By Nancy and Chuck too. I mean how bad would you feel if those two idiots got over on you do publicly.

I don’t know what the future holds for his wall, but as for today, he got dominated by two imbiciles. Dominated like the Gimp by Zed.
He did, and yet, they all still lost.
It was like watching imbreds in a doorknob-humping contest.
posted by Dr Winston O'BoogieI’m saying Chuck and Nancy made Trump squeal like a pig. As far as “The People” go, they had nothing to benefit from any of these three bozos.
This.
"The people" lost any time any of these chuckleheads were elected.
Any of them.
posted by gutLOL, he should just add another two 0's to the request and call it a stimulus bill, then the Dems will fall all over themselves to sign it.
At this point, you might have to convince him that it was his idea in order for him to jump on it, though. This guy's hubris is hilarious.
posted by gutI don't know. I've come to expect politicians make stupid and impractical promises to get votes. So for me it's almost more disappointing that he was actually serious about the wall.
This is some of the saddest shit I've ever read. It's true. But it's sad.
posted by SpockWhat we saw today was a president that is getting ran against in 2020 from his own party.
Rightly so.

Here comes the set up for a "national crisis" at the border. Trump can now declare a state of emergency and build the wall without the congress.
If true then build it.
I'd want to see some confirmation on that. Lots of it.
And there's no way we "just found out" about it, as the fortuitous timing is too coincidental.
Trump: "The Congress is going to let me build a wall."
Congress: "No, we're not."
Trump: "Hey Congress, let me build a wall."
Congress: "No."
Trump: "Oh, look over there. A reason I can build the wall without having to work with Congress. Perfect timing!"
It's either:
a) an outright lie, or
b) a "threat" that hasn't been dealt with, but tucked in a back pocket for an opportune time ... in other words, a not-very-serious threat.
I'm going with (a).
