posted by geeblockI’ll finish with this on the topic. I couldn’t care less if they ban 100 books. Kids don’t really check out books from the library anyway. It is a huge argument about something that rarely happens. But like I said people don’t want other’s controlling what they do. They don’t want the govt in their medical decisions or in their schools. I will always be about less laws. Same with the gender reassignment stuff, it is extremely rare and it has turned into literally the whole party platform. It’s weird, all of it. Hyper focused on stuff that doesn’t really happen and it will continue to cost elections. How about worry about inflation or housing or homeless or veterans or something.
Yes, people “hyper focus” on making things that are evil are removed from kids. Ideas like chemically castrating kids, letting kids get sexually explicit material at school, etc. they are all evil, any normal human being would fight to keep those ideas and possibilities away from children.
And it isn’t just fringe or one off or small problems, you were wrong about CRT being in schools and are wrong about this being almost never a problem.
Hope that helps.
