So, apparently, Dr. Ford's ex boyfriend of 6 years has come forward and made some claims that contradict Dr. Fords such as in 6 years she never mentioned a fear of flying and living in a small apartment without a need for another entryway door.

I'm divided on this guy, too. On one hand he sounds like a vengeful ex and on the other hand his name is redacted which makes me believe he doesn't want his 15 minutes of fame like most of the Kavanaugh accusers.

Also just heard a snippet of Trump (I guess at some pep rally) mocking Dr. Ford. It was pretty savage and I thought it was funny. But besides that, I'm not very appreciative of Trump singling out somebody and publicly tearing them down in that manner. It's extremely unbecoming.

Ford’s story falling apart: FBI should be done today. Trump Is dumb, but his points are the same ones we have been discussing. Just not the time or place for it. Flake seems to be a douche again and seems to be laying a foundation about why he might not vote to confirm (partisanship the most recent fake reason). Friday will be interesting

Well it's not just a time or place issue, it is who is saying them issue for me. Leave those types of comments, while funny, to comedians. I really cannot approve of a President popping off like that. I have rigorously criticized Obama for saying much less. It's just bad precedent/policy. I do realize, however,  that it is Trump and cannot expect anything better.

You're leaving out the most important part.  Ford testified that she never helped/coached anyone on how to deal with polygraph tests and this ex bf wrote in his statement that she did indeed do this.  He saw it allegedly.  There are some reports that there is potentially a 2nd witness that can corroborate this.  If this is true, that's a wrap.  Congrats on perjuring yourself.

And the lie detector she took was a joke.  I don't believe the data was ever submitted to the committee to have reviewed and interpretations corroborated.  Read she took it the day of or next day after her grandmother's funeral, which is not appropriate (and who schedules a lie detector right after your grandma's funeral?).

Makes you wonder where the question if she ever coached someone on beating a lie detector came from - someone must have tipped the committee off.

Having taken a polygraph (administered by the Secret Service, no less), I can unequivocally say that they are a complete joke in all regards.

As someone who doesn't care at all what happens in this whole ordeal (I dislike Kavanaugh based on his views of the 4th Amendment and Executive power), it truly is fascinating to watch. I went to a wedding this past weekend with a ton of college friends in attendance. The vast majority being pretty hard left. All a lot of them could seem to talk about was how guilty Kav is.

It wasn't and during her hearing she couldn't remember when her grandma's funeral was... Seems a bit odd to me.

Maybe I am in the minority, but when things like this begin I start out as ho hum, whatever, can always put someone else up. Then, the democrats just have to not be crazy, and they can't do it. THEN, the media completely destroys their credibility again, and now I want nothing more than Kav to be confirmed for the week long cry fest that will ensue. It never fails.

I feel like I am in the same boat. When the first allegation came out I wasn't sure if he was guilty or not. I had the same thought "if he is guilty then we take whoever was the next choice and nominate him/her".

Then the insanity that came out from the left and the media now just makes me want to see him confirmed by a 50-50 tie with Pence breaking the tie just to see the insanity that will ensue on the left.

So based on house plans she totally made up the story about waning another front door? Regardless of what happens to Kav, there better be a lot of people prosecuted after this.

Not sure that's accurate.  There is a second door, but her explanation and the timing of it might be suspicious (much like her alleged fear of flying).

She hasn't turned over the therapist notes, so we have no idea.  Also, the person they bought the house from is supposedly a couples therapist, and she would not confirm or deny (which makes sense) treating Ford.  But it is an odd coincidence.

I think the door story, like some other details, could be manufactured (or imagined) in order to give her story more credibility.  I think Kavanaugh did some of the same things, probably misleading about his drinking.

Also possible, maybe even probable, that Ford suffered a traumatic event and the PTSD really messed with her recollection.

What I read was the therapist who lived there before already had the 2 doors, bc it was a separate entrance into a different office or whatever. Not that there wasn't a 2nd door, but that it had 0 to do with Kav. It's funny to watch the media ignore the BF letter, which is as real or useless as all of the other accusations. At least his was a sworn statement.

Wasn't entirely clear in the article I read.  Sounded like they did do a remodel, and the hypothesis was it was actually done to be a separate office or potential rental.  It did mention the therapist had an office there, so maybe it we pre-existing.  Just not how I read it.

What's leaking is as interesting as anything.  It's all focusing on Kavanaugh's drinking, while some of the things with Ford are significant AND raising the potential for perjury.

But, once again, her BFF said she didn't know Kavanaugh.  True or not, she's not going to correct the record and perjure herself.  That's game over.  Not disclosing the notes or deposing the therapist is a huge red flag, as well.

Nothing worse than the libtard lemmings who are now crying about Kavanaugh lying about his drinking.  It's really sad that people are this incapable of independent thought.

Yeah, let's smear a guy with false accusations and then set a perjury trap when he tries to defend himself.

Haha, now Ford says she will hand over documents that the committee is asking for, once she is interviewed by the FBI. No thanks, they'll vote without your bullshit. Her lawyer is a moron.
