Trump is threatening to sue CNN, citing George Costanza.

His argument is basically that CNN defamed him calling him a liar, claiming - literally - that it's not a lie if he believes it!

I'm anxiously awaiting this court case to meet with as much success as virtually all the other ones concerning his lie that he believes.

Trump teased a big announcement today. The big news…

He’s selling $99 a piece NFT virtual trading cards. What a clown.

I saw that, I laughed. I'm still laughing. I'm not sure what I'm laughing at more: Him doing this as his latest attempt to scam losers out of cash or that a lot of clowns will be throwing away money on his Fat Homelander cosplay, while also bitching about the economy with absolutely no self-awareness.

Trump isn't President anymore. Will lose "bigly" in '24.

CNN did defame him, along with FOX, MSNBC along with numerous other outlets in all forms. And they are still going after him because he hurt their little feefee's; which ultimately started when he made fun of Mika's facelift. Before that, he had the audacity to win against Hillary. So yeah, media hates him now, to the point of working themselves up into a lather. They made a vast amount of money off of it and that's hard to let go.
Kind of like how Big Pharma made a vast amount of money and power from Covid and now they can't let it go.

I think you’re overestimating how many people still care to argue this stuff.

Probably. But it is fun to hold the broken mirror up to people, sometimes!

I think Trump did enough to wake some people out of their binary political habits. He was a useful meme, if nothing else.

I remember election day 2016 sitting in a colleagues office who is a close friend of mine.  Both of us registered in opposite parties but find common ground on libertarian principles.  I sat down and asked him "so who did you vote for" he said "Trump" I said I did too hoping he blows the political system up.

I remember not voting for Trump, but thinking he wouldn't be the juvenile twat he was campaigning.

But I did get a kick out of a few of my liberal colleagues completely losing their shit over him.  The one guy got so worked up listening to CNN on the ride into work that I was honestly concerned if he was too distracted to drive.

And that was just immediately after the election before the real crazy BS started coming out...

But he didn’t blow anything up.  There was no plan that he saw through.  He just brought his act to the WH.  In the end, he curried favors for himself and those around him, just like the current president.  He never “drained tge swamp”.

A dumbass without a plan can blow things up.  Like a wrench in the gears.  I'll admit I enjoyed watching everyone clutch their pearls.

My point is he was not a wrench in the gears.  The talking media might have made a big fuss about him.  But in reality he changed nothing.  He attempted to change nothing.  He was as politician as any other.

Hey, you have to give him credit for a couple things. By giving his older daughter (and her lengthy amount of experience at using daddy's money to start up jewelry and clothes lines), as well as her husband (and his experience at being the son of a criminal), roles in his administration, he basically showed that virtually anyone is capable of handling governmental work.

And, by not giving Don Jr. and Eric roles other than "post online and show up on TV to kiss my ass", he also showed that he's savvy enough to know there is an important difference between "virtually anyone" and "every-damn-body".

Good point.  Had he successfully installed his sons, we might today be reading stories about “Chief of Staff Hunter Biden”.
