The top two hated groups by racist groups are blacks and Jews

Yet the card carrying racist Trump is the only president with the balls to recognize Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the Jewish nation of Israel and locate our embassy there.  The alt right has got to be thrilled.

Higher, like maybe a few percent.  But that's not the point you were making.

You've brought this up before.  You seem to believe their are millions and millions of white people in these hate groups, and it's not remotely true.  The vast majority of those registered hate groups, of which there are several hundred, have less than 10 members.  KKK is probably one of the biggest and I think higher estimates are about 8,000 members nationally.

I’m not sure the number can be calculated most people are smart enough to hide it I would think

I get it but at a trump rally the percentage is probably pretty high imo.

This is why people constantly give you crap. Well this and gerrymandering.

You think the percentage of racists at a Trump rally is high? Good Lord gee, you really have outdone yourself.

The chant was bad, but I missed your posts about her anti-semitism and sympathizing with terrorists. There is good reason people have a problem with her.

I know she's anti-Israel as a nation state, but has she said anything about Jewish people?

Whether or not she needs ousted as soon as possible, and she does, that doesn't make the chant acceptable.

There have been plenty of other incidents at trump rallies including this

Seems like we are holding a congresswoman to a higher standard for comments than the president. He can say whatever and it’s like well he didn’t really mean that or that’s just how he talks or something along those lines. There is always a BUT something when it comes to the president.

I’m the one who first commented on him being a dipshit talking about the 4 of them and saying go back home. It’s actually about having the same standard for everyone. You’re the same as the media. Lash out at Trump, ignore people you like. I dislike them all.

I don't like his comments. I also don't like that the targets of his comments are anti-Semites.

That’s the thing. No one is really upset about Jews, just like no one is really upset about Trump’s “racism”. But one side claims the moral high ground while ignoring their own shitty people. Read through a Dana Loesch twitter comment thread to see how much they care about minority women who disagree with the left.

And ill define anecdotal for you. 30 people caring about Ariel is anecdotal. 30 people caring that Chris Pratt wore a Gadsden flag shirt is anecdotal. 100 years of history in one of the most historic cities (and largest) in SC is not anecdotal.

I just looked this up on twitter. LOL at some people.

We can agree she is not a good person either. I honestly am disgusted with politicians at this point. I can’t believe 350 million people and this is all we can come up with

I'm trying to think if I've ever actually heard her say anything specifically about Jews.  I'm not saying she hasn't, mind you, but what has she said that was anti-Semitic as opposed to anti-Israel?  Even the comments for which she apologized earlier this year seemed like they were more about Israel than Jews.

People with Semitic heritage live all over the world.  Hell, there are over a million in New York City who self-identify as Jewish, and another 3 million through the rest of the US.

Israel, meanwhile, is a nation state.  Now, the prevailing religious identity of the people is Jewish by a longshot (though as I recall, the next highest portion is Muslim), but Israel and Semites are not interchangeable.

It's a very fine line to say you are ONLY anti country vs. anti the people. She has used some tropes about all about the Benjamins, the jews running the government with money, and "hypnotizing" the world. Apparently Pelosi thought they comments were mad enough to vote to condemn "hate" at the time this was all happening. I don't think it's far fetched to assume someone who talks like she does and is pro BDS might just not like jews that much.

That's one thing we can definitely agree on. A bunch of morons running this stuff. And alot of it is districts that only vote one way or the other and voter turnout is low. That's how you get some of these crazy people who run unopposed for 20 years. I'm sure there are some that really run because they love the country, believe that they can change things, but how many years does it take to turn that into well F it, it's a swamp, how much money can I make.

That may be your experience but anecdotal experiences aren’t allowed on the oc I have learned.

Anecdotes are certainly allowed.  Anecdotes just don't serve as evidence of norms, or even any frequency of events.  Appeals to anecdotes as evidence of a trend are irrational.

There are generally only two ways to use an anecdote as evidence to support an argument in a rational manner: in opposition to an always/never statement or as an example of something that otherwise has a sound reasonable argument as its primary support.

I really don't think it's that fine a line.  I have nothing against a person for being Korean, even if I vehemently oppose the US having a close relationship to it and might suspect its government of dirty dealings.

The Semitic people predate Israel by millennia.  I really don't have a hard time seeing how one can oppose Israel in a general sense without opposing Jewish people at all.

The number one reason that someone would hate Israel is so far ahead of whatever comes second, it's an extremely weak argument, IMO. My apologies to the 0.000000012% of people who hate Israel but not Jews.

But it seems odd that the same people against Israel are FOR reparations....

That's a pretty nice position to be in - to make it a fact that not supporting a specific nation state is automatically a racist attitude.  It seems like it's okay to hate Russia and Putin, etc., but no one assumes you hate all Russian people in the world.  Same with China, hell even North Korea.  But with Israel, it is hands off to criticize if you don't want to be labeled an anti-Semite.
