This is surly a collection of sad cases here in this forum.  I read through this and I think, “why bother living?”

Come on, conspiracy theories, world is ending, we’re living at the pivotal moment in human history….

Guess what, that’s only tge exact same thing that’s said by every generation in human history.  We ain’t that special and we’re certainly not terminally unique even though we’re living in 2023.

If we had a five year countdown clock on here, we could be reminded then to start a new thread and reminisce about how none of this shit ever came to pass.

As my mother used to say, “Go outside and find something to do.  It’s a beautiful day.”

I get plenty of enjoyment out of life so you shouldn't wouldn't worry too much about me. But I'm not living with my head in the sand.

You can think I'm sad or crazy, that doesn't bother me in the least. There are times I think I'm crazy, but I'm too far gone at this point.

I wonder whose ethics she is referring to, and how fast her idea will spread throughout the Dems party.

I can't find it now, but earlier I was reading a medical study on why the COVID vaccine caused myocarditis/heart inflammation in teenage and young adult men, especially those that are active/healthy.

I mean something like a total of 17 young adult/teen athletes dropped dead/sudden heart problems in like 20 years, and there are 1000s in the last 4 years.

So either COVID itself caused them, the vaccine, or both, but that all was just plain conspiracy a few months back.

Shoot, even when the kid on the Bills dropped on primetime football (Hamlin) people were demonized for even suggesting the problem came from the vaccine.

I remember when that was a far fetched conspiracy, now its accepted fact and the solution/results of the study was that they should have had more time between the vaccine and the booster instead of them nearly back to back.

It sure seems the last 3-4 years have really played the old "the only difference between a conspiracy and reality is about 6 months time".

I don't see how anyone can definitively state that the vaccines were given enough time to be worth the total cost. Even some medicines that were researched and trialed for years have potentially deadly (or even inconvenient) side effects which are required by law to be listed in ads. Instead, we saw medical doctors and researchers disparaged, censored and banned from pointing out even a little bit of caution should be exercised or flaws of implementation were being carried out.

Really, it's too late for the people who have died from the vaccines or suffer from long-term effects.

The best we can hope for now is that we as a people never let ourselves fall sway to such fear and manipulation ever again.

Based on his writing, the dude was a real scholar. Sure, maybe he wrote this. But I have my doubts.

That moment CNN realized the shooter wasn't white, but then someone pointed out he still identified as a white supremacist anyway....

I can't. I just can't.

Who can even take the alphabets seriously anymore?

So, I was today years old when I found out about this:

So based on that tweet alone people could (and should) be very skeptical. However, there is also this:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/douglaswigdor/2022/05/25/statute-of-limitations-on-sexual-assault-eliminated-for-one-year-in-new-york-following-passage-of-the-adult-survivors-act/?sh=7c4c17b746fd

The ASA additionally grants trial preference to such actions and directs the Chief Administrator of the Courts to promulgate rules that enable the revived actions to be adjudicated in a timely manner.

So, what's the general thought?
Conspiracy Theory, or just dems being dems?

Have no clue what this was, and maybe I don't want to, but at 4:40am last Tuesday morning (I know the exact time because that's when I wake up), I heard a sonic boom that shook my house. Having a train track about 100 yards from my house I just brushed it off to a train making one of it's loud noises.

Today, my fiance is talking to her mom and her mom asks "did you hear those two loud booms the other morning?" Her mom proceeds to tell her that one of the houses on her block (next block up) has cameras in their back yard as this town is infested with thieves. This camera took video of two white lights bearing down on it from the sky and then just exploding with said "booms." Apparently it set off car & house alarms a street over.

No clue what this could've been. Thoughts?
