I’ve been watching the thread and will tell you I have extensive knowledge about the Haitian community in Springfield. I’ve been working as a consultant for some remodelers and builders there rehabbing old, houses, especially for them, part of this job is recruiting people to do it and especially from the Haitian community I typically don’t even call them Haitian . They call themselves Deasporia or “bones” in Creoleis a frame of reference for you guys.  Overall, these are good people. I have not found any of them to be undocumented so far. They are political refugees that have asylum.

 They call themselves Diaspora and speak Creole. As with any group, you will have a percentage of homeless people and drunks and druggies, but it’s not disproportionate by any means. For the most part, these are proud, hard-working people that actually think of themselves to be in paradise if you would. I am a better person for meeting and assisting them. Enough for now, the cannabis calls.

I’m friends with Dee miller who played for osu and is from Springfield and his comments are similar to yours that the pros well outweigh the cons for this town. 

It's kinda interesting that the Haitians would use a word like "diaspora". That's definitely a word that the US college grad activist types use.

I personally have no credit card debt and haven’t for about 10 years, but 10 years ago if you promised to cap interest at 10%, u would be in. My hypocrisy only goes so far lol

Doesn't look like the debate impacted polls, really at all.

GOP candidate in NC is flaming out so badly it could hurt the Repub ticket there, potentially swinging the WH, House and Senate to the Dems.

Seems like Trump is getting desperate.  Now he's promising to reinstate SALT.  Which I can get behind that!  But, of course, it's reinstated if the Trump tax cuts are allowed to expire next year.

Why won't Kamala do a FOX news debate?

I realize that her best friend isn't an executive at FOX. But if she wants to present strength as a female candidate, them it shouldn't matter where the debate is, yeah? 

Trump went into enemy territory by accepting the ABC debate, so to match that courage, she should do one at FOX imo.

MAGA guy in office next door was explaining to me this morning that Mentor High School has litter boxes for kids that identify as cats.  I thought he was kidding, but after asking him a couple of questions, I realized he is 100% all-in on this.  WTF?  Is this something new?  Are there people that actually believe this?

Tell your buddy he must be behind the times. I remember hearing that particular notion a year or two ago (probably not Mentor, but some school(s)), so maybe he needs to buy a premium subscription to Conspiracy Theories For Big Dummies instead of just getting by with the basic. Gotta hop on this shit when it comes out!

My wife is the administrative assistant at her school and she receives these concerns often from the grandpa types (60 year old man who works and keeps to himself but somehow got stuck raising young grandkids)

I hear the same concerns at my school as well and I guarantee my school would be one of the last to ever do that.

This guy at work is ALL IN that this is going on.  Basically told me I'm ignorant for sending my kid to public school in light of it.  I don't even know what to say to him.  How do you reason with that?

My second question today:

If Trump asked Massie to serve in his administration, because remember Trump promised the libertarians that if he got elected he would have a libertarian in his administration, ... do you think Massie would accept?

I don’t know how you think or assume it anyways….but things are weird and getting more so 

The identifying as a cat and stuff seems to be less of a thing than 3-4 years ago. My tiny school had about 3-5 kids per grade (50-70 kids) that were going that direction

You know this isn't going to happen because she can't think on her own. If someone asked her any questions regarding her flip flopping, her past, etc she would shrivel and melt. I believe after the debate she puffed out her chest about wanting another debate unless it was Fox News.

I do think if she went on Fox she could pick up some independents. She's pretty much lost the Muslim voters and steadily increasing the loss of black men, so she's got to do something.

For starters, she really doesn't want to do a debate - while she's getting acting lessons, she's still not capable of improv.  Second, she DEFINITELY doesn't want to do a debate with moderators who aren't deeply in the tank for her.

Besides, that debate went about as well as it could have for her and doesn't appear to have had barely any impact on polling.

What she's doing is not campaigning, it's performance art.  Real debates and real interviews that press her on issues and policy is damaging for her.

She had a town hall with a slam dunk liberal shill, in Oprah, and I heard she still pissed down her leg in a controlled environment with softball-like questions.

The litter boxes are there so that if you are on lock down for extended periods and someone has to poop they can poop in a litter box but it is rare
