Hilarious that the media has nothing to say about Kamala just not doing any sort of press whatsoever. “Democracy dies in darkness”. Biden still geriatric and everyone pretending all is well.

And Walz at best exaggerated his rank and his action while in the national guard. Strange guy who loves China.

Republicans will always be way "ahead". Polls close sooner in the country and the amount of people voting is 1/100th of cities. To say someone is "ahead" in an election is just dumb. No one is ahead. They either win or lose. This isn't a sport.

Well, when states are called after two counties are counted and have been for a long time the Covid procedure mucks things up. I totally understand what Iron meant.

Speaking of Walz lol

I think the Republicans should just cede the creation of attack ads to the far left, because they aren't giving Walz a chance to catch his breath. Match made in hell lol

Anyway, now the left is attacking him for being pro censorship:

Even locally it’s been an issue. My grandpa ran in several elections and my dad did one as well, my wife worked with an elected judge and my buddy for mayor and commissioner…..never an issue getting numbers in until last couple elections and now no one knows stuff until the morning.

In the nationwide elections (president) what makes it slower than it used to be? Seemed like 10,000 73 year old women named Florence got everything done back in the 80’s and 90’s

Walz and Minnesota also had a hotline you could snitch on your neighbors during Covid if they weren’t practicing social distancing. Hes a goof.

I kinda feel sorry for Walz at the end of the day. While I don't agree with his politics, he does seem like somebody you could get along with really well in a personal level.

But attacks from the right:

- he's got himself aligned with a presidential candidate who wants to use govt force to confiscate guns

- the whole stolen valor thing

And attacks from the left:

- he's a genocidal maniac for supporting Israel (one must be pro Palestine to be a true socialist)

- he's pro censorship

So, he's been given such a narrow path to move that he might as well just stand still and be silent. I think the only people who will be supportive of him are the ones that rely on squishy feelings and nostalgia for establishment Dems.

The stolen valor thing is another dumbass hot take from the GOP. The flailing seems to be a daily occurrence now.

Both he and Vance were deployed. Vance to a warzone, Walz for NATO mission. The end.

Derp. He has consistently lied about the rank her retired at, and also played loose with the word deployment and veteran of a war. He also explicitly said something about banning weapons of war like he used in war… he was never in war. I’m not a vet so I’m not gonna call anything stolen valor, but he’s a liar at the very least. Nice try though.

They also knew about these issues for years. This isn’t a hot take from the GOP. And veterans are mad about it, regardless of him quitting before deploying which hasn’t even been brought up yet. Stop being a sheep.

So it comes down to how close to actual combat then?

Twitter got you shook again and I’m the sheep? 🤣

Can you comprehend English? He was never in war, yet said he was. Italy isn’t war. This is very simple. Like I said, he has also lied about his rank repeatedly.

Politicians stretching the truth and bullshitting for the masses. Ya don’t say?

Well, I don't like the fact that he's pro censorship via disinformation. Especially when the Dems/media were calling everybody a Russian Asset or Putin Puppet. They even called other Dems those names, it was crazy!

So yeah, wanting govt to protect the people from disinformation... when the govt/media are the biggest perpetrators of disinformation is a surreal notion.

He hasn’t lied about his rank. He didn’t skip going to combat.

Those 2 are easily found simply by listening to the Minnesota National Guard.

He was told they might deploy in the next 2 yrs — a month or so after he had already filed for retirement and planned a run for Congress. There is no evidence to suggest had they been deployed prior he would have skipped. But he was already in thick of Congress race and had been granted his retirement when they got the call.

You might not like the fact he is referring to a title he achieved and held for only half a year before retirement — but it is not a lie; he did achieve it.

…this is what I was talking about before. Just attacking people for no reason because “other side”. Call him out on his policies if you don’t like them, but stop being so caught up and petty over a guy who put in 24 yrs and wanted to retire from it.

He also doesn’t want to put tampons in boys bathrooms. Just reading the damn bill/law would’ve told all of us that.

The “boys” room it’s in is unisex. He did mandate the gym mens room have it — which, I don’t see an issue, but can get behind an argument against it if someone has a compelling reason — because the visiting teams use the opposite sex locker room.

The nickname given to him is Timpon lol

It’s such a bad nickname by the right. If he had any guts and sense of humor he’d come out the next rally, “yeah, they call me tampon Tim cause stop red waves!”.

You know the left has thought of it, cause I am not that creative to be the only one haha

He did not retire the rank he has repeatedly said he is. It was a conditional promotion that he never finished, thus retiring a rank lower. You don’t just get to say you’re a rank that you aren’t. And I’ll leave him skipping deployment up to his fellow enlisted, who so far seem mad about it.

Coincidentally, my brother is stationed in Vincenza, Italy right now (like Walz) so I’ll let you know how the war zone is.

Interesting how random people become overnight experts on topics such as military rank seemingly overnight.

One day: Couldn’t list military ranks in their entirety.

Next day: Expert on nuance of earned rank versus retired rank, combat deployment, consensus opinion of current and retired military personnel, etc.

Kind of like how Project 2025 suddenly became Trump's antichrist manifesto

Yes, and how people who’d never heard of it on a Tuesday understood it intimately and were closely familiar with its creators’ plans by Wednesday.
