That’s why I say he’s not good in the traditional sense.  But he knows his audience and has a top notch radar for measuring its reaction in real time.  His “meandering” (to me) is purposefully done because he is catering to what he perceives the audience wants at exactly that moment.  That is what makes him an effective speaker.  If you already love him, which everyone in his audience does, he essentially is having an off-the-cuff conversation with you.  

No one can deny he’s a great marketer, and since he can do that he doesn’t have to be a great speaker.  He knows his audiences (and the ones at these rallies are your local, not very educated folks, so fucking idiots), and the way he goes about it is a way that they will eat up.

Some of his hyperbole gets overanalyzed because of his track record from his first term, and that’s his own damn doing.

Similar to your earlier point about what would it look like if Trump said, "I don't want my kids growing up in a racial jungle" what would your honest reaction be if Biden or Harris said, "Vote for me and I'll fix it so you never have to vote again."?

Take the time to find the context before pearl clutching.  We are all likely guilty of it at some point in our lives.

I can’t argue with that. However that money that was forgiven will end up being spent in this country and those people will likely buy cars, tvs, a house, get home improvements, who knows. Those people in those industries then will also benefit and they will buy cars, tvs, etc. So that is why I still think it’s better for the economy than a tax break for a billionaire imo.

Which always makes me laugh when people assure us that paying more taxes, and rich folks specifically paying more taxes, will solve everything.

I think the ad is a couple of years old. It’s been posted here before. It’s also not advocating violence?  He’s promoting defending the 2nd amendment. He slipped in Dems instead of just being the kkk bc they get riled up when told they started the klan.
