Very combative

It's because FOX kept interrupting her and not letting her filibuster with her story about how Trump controlled her every move.

Oh, no. Magically no. Over time, yes. It's like any voting area.

You can read books and histories of Nixons campaign and his southern strategy to start, and then books on Reagan's southern campaign too by his campaign officials from back in the day.

Areas change over time. Look at Ohio as an example over the last 20 years.

Demographics and belief systems may change in certain areas/states over time, heck, California used to be a red state.

That doesn’t mean the parties switched sides for God’s sake, No way you can beeline the parties switched sides yet make fun of someone for believing in the great replacement theory. Thats just asinine.

The party platforms didn’t switch, some of their voting constituencies did, but not their platforms.

I think the parties are in the midst of switching sides right now. What's more, the switch is all but complete.

After watching Harris on Fox here’s my wish….

She loses…because she’s the Democrat version of Sarah Palin…a moron who got picked because of her genitals (and skin color in her case) and she should just go away.

Also, if Trump wins we can know for sure we don’t have to see that asshole campaigning in 4 years.  We can get 2 new faces in there.

Only 4 years of an asshole rather than 4 years of a moron and then Trump running again in 4 years,

I just want the nonsense to stop.

Let’s get back to sensible politicians….Obama and his two opponents. Bush and his 2, Tulsi, Vance, Vivek, etc.

The last 3 elections have just been the worse sets of candidates in my 45 years on this planet.

Its pretty damn horrific, coming from me, a fan of the horror genre.

You don't say? As am I. We've been pretty much tapped out on 80's horror flicks coming up for Halloween. Open to movie suggestions and please don't say the Terrifier series as it's nothing more than a shock & awe gorefest.

We watched "The Visit" last night... different horror vibe but a very unsettling movie.  Funny parts too.

So I listened to the Harris interview this morning on my drive in. I'd say she pretty much got eviscerated.

When pressed for an answer, like transformation surgeries to become transgender, on the taxpayer's dime, while in prison, her response was always "I will follow the law." So basically she's saying she approves of it but won't say.

Also funny how Trump's living in her head rent free. When pressed on how things have been handled the past 3.5 years she deflected to "but Trump, but Trump." Clue there for you Dumb & Dumber, Trump hasn't been in office the last 3.5 years when inflation skyrocketed and the border was swarmed with incoming migrants.

To add insult to injury, she's so desperate, to get the black male vote, that I'd heard she's now offering, what I believe is unconstitutional (and pretty much racist), debt forgiveness loans of 20k for only black men and promises to completely legalize weed. Now I'm not a black male but this is a slap in the face. She's basically saying "all the black male is concerned about is loan forgiveness and smoking weed."

Her Hail Mary last night, by going into the lion's den with Brett Baier, came across as a swing and a miss/miserable failure.

^^ so 'content of character' is not a criteria for her wealth distribution plan?

First she was a coward for not going to a "tough" interview forum.  Now she's done it and she's "dumb" because she didn't respond to the interviewer's baiting her.

I think you were going to come to these conclusions regardless of how she did.

No, actually my concern was that she might sound intelligent and like a potential leader of the country. She confirmed the opposite.

Been getting more into cosmic horror stuff. Where it's slower paced and generally weird and happy endings for anyone typically aren't in the cards. YellowBrickRoad, Possession, In the Mouth of Madness, etc.

And the occasional goofy stuff like Killer Klowns from Outer Space to change the mood.

I've come to realize that in the stupid world we live in, every single day X will be flooded with how one of the two is done or should be done for one reason for another. And also flooded with the complete opposite take about the same thing because getting anyone to admit their candidate can be a fuck up isn't gonna happen.

Now, it's Harris' interview on Fox. She either completely sucked or refused to take any crap, depending on what accounts you were following. A couple days ago, it was Trump doing some town hall Q&A that wound up with the Q&A part getting ended in favor of music being played while he awkwardly swayed and shuffled on stage along with Kristi Noem. Some were like "LOL, WTF?!?!?", others were spinning it as him having a special moment with people.

Everything is just so hilariously stupid; we're soooo fucked with these two.

I don’t believe you were concerned about this at all.  Your mind was made up ahead of the interview.  Certainly that’s you’re right.  But to pretend that you just didn’t know what was going to happen is disingenuous.  Regardless of how the interview went down, this was going to be your take.

This interview is a microcosm of how two people can watch the exact same thing and come away with a polar opposite impression.  People on here say she was horrible.  Other people I’ve heard say she was fantastic.  Both groups generally believe those of the opposite view are “stupid”.  And there we go.

Dracula (Brett Baier) didn't attack Kamala Harris. But he didn't let her filibuster. I suppose if you're neck deep with her that can be seen as an attack. Or if you're neck deep on the Trump side it could be seen as an own. But she wasn't being attacked.

While my description was a very colorful one, it essentially was a quick rundown.

As for the Trump town hall where he was dancing for 30 minutes I saw a clip of it on The Hill (or it could have been Breaking Points, sorry I don't remember) and they were saying that there were audience people getting sick (I don't know why) and the Trump team coordinators were stalling to get those people set and removed. Now, I'm not sure if that's exactly what happened because I didn't watch it.

To me, those are very mundane areas to attack either one. The templates are set for the both of them, yeah? All we have to do is make it through the next three weeks and we are good haha

When you have always-online tools with the ego/ignorance to think their opinions on something a politician said or did will actually have any real impact on a national presidential election, mundane areas are always going to treated as significant.

Sure, you can take the last four presidential elections and see that they averaged 139.25 million votes and realize that 1 is a very, very tiny percentage of that total and then use logic to determine that shit is going to have minimal impact on anything -- but that's not going to stop them from breaking down every single thing on a daily basis as a game-maker/breaker!

With all of the comments of Brett Baier being "tough but fair" I had concerns that he wouldn't push her on her flip flopping and being non-committal to anything. So to say I "knew what was going to happen" was incorrect. He surprised me by pushing her and, regardless of the opinions, she was far from "fantastic" when asked for a specific answer only to say "I will follow the law."

I disagree and here is why.

The Harris team reached out to FOX/Dracula, probably with the understanding that she wasn't going to get her hand held. She had days to prepare better content than a filibuster. But she just kept repeating that she was a victim of Trump. Now, I call that as a bunch of horse shit. But I also listened to her interview with Charlemagne tha God where she explained that she keeps repeating what she says because she is "disciplined". That is HER terminology and explanation for why she conducts herself in the way that she does. That is her strategy.

I respect your opinion.  It's just an interesting thing in politics, as in other areas, two people can be intelligent, yet have the exact opposite reaction after having seen and heard the exact same thing.

I saw that she was patient, firm and mostly didn’t fall for his baiting.

I don’t believe she is a great presidential candidate but I did learn some positives about her that I haven’t gotten from excerpts and commercials.
