It's already been discussed...you're using Slate to make your point. It's a really terrible point if you have to use Slate to back it up.

I only saw what people were saying about it and they were linking to the slate article. That's how I knew that people on twitter *gasp* were saying what they were saying. 
Slate is terrible, I never said it was not. The whole point of my post was that Twitterverse/Slate was saying he wasn't gay enough. It's ok if you don't like the fact that I commented about it.

I follow people on twitter from both the left and the right. Some of the people I follow are fairly far left. I think it's interesting to see what others of varying far-left opinions like to say and sometimes I agree. Same with people on the moderate to far right.

Oh my god!! How terrible!!

When you make real money and people want to take it from you it is fucking terrible. My wife and myself don’t work hard to get taxed more to support pieces of shit.

But I’ll still be ok at the end of it, the lower middle class will be the ones who really get screwed.

I think you're trying too hard to "get" the conservatives on this site.  You have been on that kick lately.  Not everyone here is QO.  Data, qualitative evidence , proposed policy and approved policy already proves CHS and icl's point.  I posted the pew research before, where is shows how far left the dems are going.  Our country is better off with the median of both sides closer to the middle.  If you don't see an issue with one side becomming pretty radicalized, then I don't know what to tell you.  The right has plenty of flaws, but they have yet to become radicialized. I also don't know why you are in denial.  There are plenty of examples out there.

Hey guise, you're not allowed to discuss what presedential candidates say, because S&L says they aren't being serious.  Going forward for S&L's safe space, please only discuss topics that he is ok with.

The majority of the posts you are referring to are being done in the digusted with progressives thread.  It's literally in the title of the thread.  I'd recommend not reading it if it's getting under your skin.  And you're saying our jimmies are rustled lol?

It's also not about what they are saying.  Again, policy has been proposed and approved.  Data shows that the majority of millenials believe socialism is the answer.  We now have states officially forfeiting their electoral votes to people outside of their state and a large sum of people are ok with the EC dying.  Even if they are saying shit to get votes (which I am well aware politicians do this all the time), they are saying it, because their research shows a large amount of their voting base supports it.  They wouldn't just say shit that their voting base wouldn't care for. I wouldn't call it paranoia, but there is plenty of evidence out there to be concerned.  That's part of what having a vote and discussing these topics is all about.  If you think it's hysteria, then come with a better response than trying to mock everyone.  Right now that shit is weak and comes off as you have nothing of substance to counter.  As I said earlier, you aren't primarily dealing with QO.

That's more/less of what I was getting to when I said he is trying too hard to "get" the conservatives on this site. 

Normally he has solid posts whether I agree with or not, but lately his posts have been weak and lazy.  Not even trying to step up to the plate and offer something other than trolling.
